 I'm interesting what happens if old items will be back? on high credits and on varium. i mean: Dragon Buster II, Dragon Slayer armor, Founder armor, Frostbane, Bunnyzookas and etc

they have no cores, just visual and design has awesome. what happens? just players which have these items will complain and it's all? why no back old items?

i don't understand. nightwraith duds has cool colors, nice form and it is available. but founder armor and platinum's pride not, delta knight not. pyro fly is available but gamma bot not

i don't understand reason. just they said that rare items never back and it is only the reason? i don't care if some players will complain, that they already have these items. i wanna have too

people complaining also about back passives, delete ranks, i remember they complained so much when azrael's gun was buyable with credits, and etc. but no one cares. please back old items on high credits and on variums. Thanks

Makes the whole "Rare and Ultra-rare" tag meaningless. Resulting in items losing their value. We all desperately want the cool rare items, but don't forget why we need them so badly. It's because it's rare. See the irony??

Because they were advertised as being permanently rare, and they are labelled as being so too. You're just being selfish. You moron.

I would understand if they held a competition and the winner can ask for any 1 rare item(Expect Alpha weapons and maybe founders items??) like AQ.com. Then maybe i guess it's fine to some extent. idk...

 i wanna back them for their design, core and form. i like old items. just look

infernal interdictor has 10% ignore defense any each strike
gamma bot has energy and physical damage both
stun guns has 6% chance to stun enemy
and etc. bionic battlegear has unblockable attack, frost destroyer has 50 energy steal core, delta daggers has also low support core

frostbane and dragon buster II has awesome design i love it, as platinums pride, as bunnyzookas. just there is not any auxiliary looks like bunnyzooka. and etc

i want back old items only for design and only for cores

i don't understand why delta or omega players will never get alpha-beta-gamma items? just why? because they did not play in early phase? it is not right. we wanna play with old items

i don't know what that means. someone have an item and don't wanna that other person have it?

ok lets discuss. answer me why almost everyone has infernal android on focus 5 build? answer me why 2 vs 2 has all of them azrael's gun? why everyone has on auxiliary frozen fury or dread aux? why (if has) everyone using +15 def & res endless core?

why you don't talking about that? people playing with same items. almost all

You really need to learn how the world works.


Anyway.. If you want those core you can suggest for them to return, but with some other items. Ex: The critic core that went rare with it's weapon but then reintroduced with other weapons later.

I'd kinda feel like the Founder armor wouldn't mean much if everyone could get it. Let me think about it....

No, I'm sure. It would cheapen the meaning of having been here and contributed to Epic Inventions as a tester (to say nothing of helping the company with purchases), if the so-called Founder Armor, Alpha/Beta or other Ultra Rare gear was just tossed out there for nothing. Why not just GIVE the achievements too, since they're worth a whole lot of points and other people can't get them?

Yes, that's exactly why and it is in every way fair. It is extremely unfair to the people that were there for the promotion to have it come back just because you want it to. The whole point of permanently rare items is so that they will only be available for a short period of time and will never be available again.

Then those who brought these items on time in the past would be screaming for compensation due to the staff deciding to bring back these items for those who missed it and would have every right to. It happened when the eggzooka came back by accident, and it happened when they purposely brought back the Azreal borg, bio borg, and pyro fly when all of these were promised to be perma-rare.

It would also damage the trust between the older players who got these items and the staff who made this promise which in turn will also be bad for business.

 Well Front 45, I can see what you mean and I see your reasoning behind it. It's completely foolish of them to introduce cores, introduce items with cores, make those items go rare, then complain about how hard cores are to make. If I had to take a guess, they want to bring back some of these cores to enhance player diversity however that would, just as mother has stated, ruin what little trust there is between older players and the staff who decided to implement such horrible changes. Sure, they go back on their word anyway, but they have to at least make it look like they won't.

i do not agree you. i am a delta-omega player and i love when i see old weapons. i wanna have it so much. as mother1 said pyro fly, eggzooka, bio borg and etc many items was back yes and i think it is right. old weapons has incredible designs and cores. it is not "op" items that everyone will use. it is not infernal android which using almost all focus 5 player. it is not force azrael's gun which using 2 vs 2 every player

worst thing about old items is that people were hacked. so much people. my friend Chandoggy Returns also, me and etc. 2 years ago i was hacked too. i was bored and wanted play with old weapons. i wanted exchange just and i was hacked by someone. and many players also with same reason. i think back old weapons will reduce chances to hack someone. yeah i was bored, nothing interesting was happening and i try find someone with old weapons, any lvl any class i wanted so much gamma bot, platinums pride player. and as i said i was hacked

in my opinion they must back old weapons seasonally. never happens never. they can do it and i hope they will do

example look. there are many old items, i mean swords: infernal slayer, frostbane, azrael's bane, frost destroyer, celtic cleaver and etc. there are many kind of swords and if back old items, i am sure people will not play with same items, as all using now Infernal android robot, +15 def and res, force gun, dread or frozen aux

i don't understand why people are not agree. you like that everyone playing with celtic cleaver or frozen fury sword? you like robot, gun, aux and armor is same always?

There's liking and there's plain unfair playing. Let me put it in a way you might understand. Lets say you work really hard for a competition and you win a prize. But then the judges decides to reward everyone who participated with the same prize. Now, honestly, how would you feel??

 there are more than hundred swords, hundred guns, hundred auxiliaries and etc. there are many. some people will play with bunnyzooka, or eggzooka, or ghoul cannon, now all playing with dread aux or frozen fury aux. same situation as swords, as armors, as guns, as auxiliaries and etc

some people will play bionic battlegear, or infernal interdictor, or frost destroyer, or frostbane and etc

now all playing with celtic cleaver or frozen fury sword

From what i'm seeing from everyone's responses and your argument on bringing back these items, you simply want them implemented because you are greedy.

When it comes down to the core of it, you want all of these perma-rare items to be brought back so YOU can use them. Bringing back these things won't make the game more diverse, if anything, it will pretty much ensure that anyone and everyone left playing the game will either quit and halve the current playerbase, or they will pretty much just buy all of this 'new' gear cause it looks cool which as SouL has said above, is because NW designed them and we all can see how good his work is.

Honestly bro, i feel as if you are just a troll that keeps popping up asking the same things over and over again even after getting the same responses over and over again. Also who actually are you? I've never seen you in-game and you don't have an ED account linked to your Forum's account.

Im'a epicduel player since 2011-2012 year

wanna know nowadays epicduel problems? ok lets start

1. check twitter many people stop playing because system is bad

2. juggernaut battle is dead

3. there are no more passives

4. almost all player using same items

5. 1 vs 1 is dead because of high rank players

6. mercenary class is totally dead

7. 30- level bounty hunter is op class

8. energy parasite is weakest energy skill (if enemy does not have energy, you will lose if you are blood mage)

9. 2 vs 2 there are sometimes unfair battles. have 36 or 37 level partners (and what is bad rounding always same people)

10. there is no balance in the game because of high ranks

11. always win is exiles

12. I must say that for focus 5 players 2 vs 2 is baddest, because almost all have dexterity bounty hunter build, or dexterity tech mage build, or strength tech mage build or support tactical mercenary build

13. many people are hacked and they are complaining want return items back. and artix help team can't do anything

listen. people are tired and bored. they want something new. players want balanced game, playing with old and awesome weapons, jugg wake up, mercenary stronger class, energy parasite need buff and etc. they no more getting pleasure. only high rank players are satisfied and saying that they like winning over low levels, their win percent is 90% and more. this is result of nowadays situation

why everyone is quiet? i don't understand. looks like game is in the best section. i feeling bad because losing without a chance against 100 rank players. 2 vs 2 sometimes need 5 minutes for start, because there are not many people in ED. i wanna play with old weapons but some players saying that: i have purchased these items and you will not get it free

Wake up epicduel team. help game help people. they are ready for play. do a favour things for them. we will suggest almost everything if you want. it looks like they don't care about game, about how many players will be in ED. but we care about it because some people playing almost every day, Epic Duel is part of their life, change everything to good. what for are you waiting? i am writing this with pain because i hurt so much that game is almost dead

There are certain rules that must never be broken, and a promise to legacy players is one of them. Alpha, Beta, and Gamma-specific gear were all legacy gear that were intended to allow those players who were actually playing during those phases the opportunity to showcase their seniority in the game (via their achievement badges/gear), indulge in nostalgia (always a plus), and to reward them for having supported the game that early on in the game development stage.

To say that the developers should consider reneging would be a bad business practice and the ultimate insult to legacy players. After all, those players were led to believe that the phase-specific gear were available only during those actual phases. Even if the majority of the legacy players are inactive, that is still no grounds for recanting previous promises. Honor and integrity are at stake here; it is not a matter of whether or not it would serve as a fleeting source of satisfaction for current players (which I am certain it undoubtedly would).

Make no mistake, all players are valued, but therein lies one of the fundamental rules in life--we can't always have what we want. Asking the developers to do what you ask would set a dangerous precedent, where players would then have no reason to believe that anything ever released is actually "rare," which decreases value in all "rare" items in the game.

//is a veteran player who came back to complain about this complaint. Just kidding--about the complaining part, anyway.

Just going to add dev team has no interest in bringing back any rare items.

That being said we have given away personal items "Titans and NW Alpha Gear" for the winter gift giving season. We remove the items from our inventory to give to the players not creating any new entries in the database. This practice is so we can offer high rewards to exceptional players who earned them by playing well and have been active in the EpicDuel community.

i please so much to you back even only platinum's pride. i love this armor. i wanna play epicduel with this armor. please whole my heart. talk to dev. i was many times hacked because of exchanging player who had platinum's pride and i wanted it

Unfortunately a lot what NW said is still what we are aiming towards and we hit a few development snags. First cloud save on BioBeasts is taking a lot longer then expected. While easy for Android, IOS is proving to be very difficult. ( there are many times we want to toss the MacBook out the window and flip tables ) That's just one of the million things laying around on our desk.

Anywho I realized we've gone awhile with out anything official to say regarding the dev process and where we are at. This is because the dev team is 100% focused at tasks. I only jumped in here on my lunch break to once again remind players rares will not be coming back. Battle Elf is still looking for a new EpicDuel PR liaison for you guys. Hopefully will get one soon.

A PR guy should be chosen by multiple staff, given the task to one person is not good stuff at all. Because you know, many take stuff personal thus resulting in wrong choices, hence why I think a PR guy wasn't chosen yet, it might because of such personal problems.

Anyways goodluck to you for finding a new PR guy, although Mr. Therril gave a bad representation of what a PR guy does, hence making me think that there isn't really a need to hire one now. The game is technically dead, anything that the PR guy will be answering is hateful comments.
