I could never pronounce "Yggdrasil". Seriously. After like 10 games worth of trying... maybe after this release. Our next major release in AdventureQuest 3D will be, THE WORLD TREE! Want to see some concept art?



As you can see, Elven teenagers clearly graffiti'd this mystical portal thing.



If you ever have this particular view while playing this release... we really hope you have a parachute. Or feather fall if you are paratrooper mage.



Why.... why would someone even build a temple all the way up here? ...and why to the temples lead to strange elemental planes? Guess we will find out soon enough.



Above is one of the new armor sets Dage is working on. After our previous super dark release, is is nice seeing a new style with more color.



Designing the Shaman!

This release is the first of our two "World Backer Tier" Kickstarter Backer areas. It was a blast designing this release with Slifsgaard. He came to the lab for a day long visit, tour, and planning session. Here, you can see the concept art going back and forth for approvals.

My favorite part of this character is the beard. I wonder if we will be able to make it an unlockable option for your character?

THE WORLD TREE STORY

This new area will be a very important, and permanent place in our world. Here, you will learn about the Elemental Planes.... and if worthy, takes the tests to be able to traverse them at will.
