The suggestion is to add cores that have an effect that doesnt affect the battle for example:

a core that grows your character for the entirety of the fight (no cost, no stat bonuses) +one that effects enemies/allies

a core that shrinks your character for the entirety of the fight (no cost, no stat bonuses) +one that affects enemies/allies

Something fun to mess around with when bored
