Does anyone know if the sell price will jump up after the sale? Looking at profiting a little

 All token purchases are tracked by the game and the sell price is always related to how much you paid for it.

So no, you won't be able to profit out of buying token items on sale.

 Does anyone know if the "value" of house items is based on the amounts paid for them or their normal prices? For example, if two characters have the exact same house items, but only one of the characters purchased them during the half off sale, would the "value", as displayed on the " Top 100 Homes" page, of the character's house that paid full price for the items be double that of the character than got them all half off?

If you bought a house at half price then you earn interest at that half price. So the value is the price bought at.

 I'm not talking about the price of the house itself, though, but rather the house items, which all contribute to the "value" of your house on the " Top 100 Homes" page, which states "This list contains the top 100 AdventureQuest characters that own an in-game home, sorted by the value of the house plus total value of house items.".

The list doesn't actually display values, but yes if two players had otherwise identical houses and house items if one of the houses were purchased half-off and the other was not, the one purchased at full price would be further up on the list.

 I'm not certain that that's accurate, as I've purchased the majority of my house items during the half off sale, yet I have a pretty high ranking on the list....
