so, going through my gear, i realized that honestly for nuking things, all i really need is Kindred with maybe Shinyaro for good measure, that leaves plenty of spots open for armors for purposes other than nuking, whether its for survivability or inflicting status effects.

Thing is, if i just go with those 2 armors for nuking what are some gear items i could use to cover different types of fights that nuking won't exactly solve?

Werewolf and Vampire's immobility quickcast skills are useful for Guardians, it would be in your second no drop slot.
War's Legacy has a no resource cost, but turn cost Afraid skill, it can be used as a last resort if the subrace immobility quickcasts fail to be inflicted, since its limited to 2 casts a turn.
Whispering Raiment can be used for its +105 initiative, given that you have some Luck stat to use it with to be higher than the average monster initiative of 225 Luk.

War's legacy eh? i might use that, but im kinda already using everything else, what are some things that reduce damage and or increase block chance, i have gauntlet of space already, what other items can i use, armor/misc/spell

Fujin's no Kiyousa has a skill that increases blocking defenses.
Advanced Werepyre has a Panicked damage reduction skill in place of Werewolf/Vampires' immobility skill.

maybe i'll use fujin's, only problem is that it would take up another armor slot because my current wind armor lord of the skies comes from a weapon.


wait a second, what about those spells you get from blackhawke in the tower? anything useful there for my build?
