Having gifting start December 1st (during the weekend) it's more convenient instead of December 3rd which is a week day where people have school/work

However you’re always free to start early Christmas with your family, just agree on it, and everyone gets to buy Christmas presents early! Personally I’d wait, but that’s up to you.
