Hey there, heroes!

This week, a new board has appeared at the Arena at the Edge of Time! The Lost Fables board is here, home of entities you may have heard of in DragonFable, but never yet encountered yourself.

To start things off, we have Yalla, the Arch-Druid, who attempted to conquer Greenguard while you were frozen, and Braytes San, the Heretic of Lhe'Shyiac, who was prevented from crashing the sun into Lore by Uaanta and her allies!

Defeat them both to earn and upgrade Yalla's Jade Cleaver, and if you're lucky (or beat the duo challenge 10 times), you can earn Braytes San's Globus Lux cosmetic weapon!

If you think you have what it takes, click on the dark rift over Falconreach and enter the Inn at the Edge of Time!

Also this week, October's Dragon Coin specials, made by Dracelix, are here! The Bloodfarer gear is color-custom and fashionable, fitting of an ancient sect of vampires.

If you're interested, make sure to pick up the helm and cape before they leave at the start of next month!

Finally, the official announcement of a feature that was introduced earlier this week, on Wednesday!

If you've got big stacks of items or resources in your inventory, you can now sell as many as you want in one go. For example, if you have 1000 Bronze Ninja Medals burning a hole in your pocket, you no longer have to sell them one at a time.

I really liked these challenges and they surely were a welcome surprise. Finally learning who Yalla is and their outlook after that certain Friday the 13th cutscene many years ago was nice. And so was Braytes San, didn't think we would see Uaanta's nemesis.

Overall, I really like the idea of Lost Fables. Seeing and fighting enemies who we have only heard about or story has hinted was something I always liked about Inn and these didn't disappoint. And getting a strong nature weapon that gives +10 to all was also something I was eagerly waiting.

Was lucky and got the Globus Lux on my first try. I reeally liked this challenge. And the community can have fun brainstorming what other entities could appear on this board in the future.

Anyone figure out a way to consistently damage Brightsun?

With CW I got him down to 49 hp (Aegis-> Gambit & Vengeance -> Untangle -> Rebuke since I had very low hp), but then died.

Tried the same strategy again (RNG could make it work) and couldn't get more than one attack through in each of 4 tries.

I don't insist on CW but usually try only 2-10 times (since I get bored eventually), so checking with CW is my go-to, and I had a feeling it could work.
Also, what's Kevin's CW rotation? I've been out of the forums for a while.

Is it me, or does Braytes San do more damage with one of his attacks when you use Chaosweaver?

@mahasamatman That rotation works for me, assuming you: 1) get hit by Brightest Sun's t1 attack 2) get an ice scythe proc on vengeance and 3) at least 1 crit on rebuke. I used offensive (int) gear and ice scythe + SF ice. I modified your rotation to:

> eGambit + eAegis > Vengeance -> Untangle -> Rebuke

And I'd say it has a ~40% winrate (due to ice scythe proc + rebuke crit).

I next tried the above rotation with Verraad + Vile Rose, and it has a ~88% winrate (need only one rebuke crit).

That being said, neither rotation works in the duo, because Yalla has a DoT. I'd recommend using Kevin's Chaosweaver rotation, if you insist on using ChW, or use V2/BSW/KAA or another class that can kill Braytes quickly without gimping your defenses.

@LigerBeard I don't think so, but note that 1) Braytes does more damage as he has lower HP and 2) Chw gives itself -60 all using gambit.

Not sure how to do any damage to Braytes San, the Heretic of Lhe'Shyiac. I've tried many different elements and attack types, guests and pets, yet still no damage is done: "Braytes San is enshrouded by Light."

^You must be hit by Braytes's 1st attack, which applies "Lightsworn" to you, allowing you to damage him.

Bit late but i just have to say i was never a fan of the challenge releases but i love these types of challenges what gives us more lore. This and the elemental spirits challenges are one of my favorite release. I hope we get more like this 😁
