Hi!
I've gotten back into AQ since it's a good filler for school. I've been aiming for this build, but it looks like it may be outdated or smth. Additionally, I have no idea how this game actually works, so I just mess with surface level things otherwise I would try setup a build myself.

I like the idea of going defensive w/ mana shields and sustain. Before I realized that there was an actual way to play this game, I used the Dharana/Healing spell loop to force my way to level 120 or so, and then one day my health was way more and healing spells sucked. Presumably there was a balance change or smth.

Any help would be super appreciated. I'm trying to get my course right by 150, or at least somewhat corrected, so I can stop feeling somewhat underpowered. As it is, it seems like I can make it through most fights - the one for book of burns has been messing me up a bit, but everything else I've tried has been fine.

Hi man, I'm no expert and I have posted a request for build advice/help myself, but I do know that there are some great guides here on the forums. I would suggest you co to AQencyclopedia and check out the weapon, armor, spells, misc guides and also check out some of the build guides which I'm guessing are also in the AQ encyclopedia section. With that said, I can see that you have a ranged build, are you going for a pure ranger or more of a hybrid?

I'm trying to go for a wizard, and most things have said to use a lot of dex, so I maxed it out. I found out the cap was raised too, so I put my int at 250 and now I just need more stat points.
Running both int and str is interesting. I've never tried a warrior, but if I'm ever satisfied with this character, it's my next step. (That ultimon fight is such a pain :3).

I think, for a wizard build, your stats are ok. If you need more stat points, you just need a farming area and farm gold and xp. When my main was at that level, I used the guardian arena as a farming area doing the dragon battle which is one before the level 150 level. Got good gold and xp from running that a few times per day until I hit the xp and gold cap for that day which rarely happened.
