hi, coming from the general discussion thread of the Friendly contest war, someone mentioned a theory of the Engineer in the exalted tower being the first of the Malerous. So, i was wondering, I know some of the fights in the inn are already characters from the main storyline (Elemental Challenge, Jack and the Sisters, Candy Bros, etc.), but are there any lore sources (or at least how these people are involved somehow in the story of DF) for the other fights? Specifically the following:

1. Exaltia Tower
2. Dreamspace
3. Forgotten Beasts
4. Otherworldy challenge
5. Dragon Trio and Dragonoid
6. The Emperor and Unraveler
7. The Conduit
8. The IE Dragons
9. Conquest and Faith

It would be really interesting for me to read up on those :)

Conquest and Faith are both major villains that the hero did not face themselves - Yalla being an archdruid that Jaania took care of whilst we were frozen (there's some talks on him in several quests - when Caitiff is summoned one of Yalla's possesions is used, and there's some exposition dumping about Yalla in the Royal Resistance quests).

Braytes is the big bad evil guy that Uaanta faced across the world that she tells us about in the Malerous questline.

I think most of the Exaltia Tower lore is from books we find in both the Library and the Inn.

Other than that, the most we know for most of these challenges is from the design notes and some speculation.

I figure that atleast some of these challenges are just monsters to help expand the bestiary of the world - The dragon trio and dreamspace challenges are both fantastical, but not ridiculous enough to be out-of-line for the world of Lore.
