Is there any way to tell what Inn Challenge rewards can be stored in the Bank without taking up a slot? Or maybe a list of which ones can be store without slots?

Generally all items in Otherwordly Creatures -board and onwards are tagged as DC -items or DA -items, meaning they can be put in bank without taking up a slot. I don't think there are any exceptions.

Possibly after that group. I posted the question in response to not being able to store any of the Otherworldly rewards, other than Baby Chimera, as my bank is already full.

Everything after the Otherworldly board is bankable, barring the merge resources (but not the final reward) from the Hyperhydra and Frallmar.
