Hello. I'm attempting some of the inn challenges now for the first time, since I got the Chaos Weaver class now.
Before this, I was using the DK class as my main, and post update I have been reluctant to use it at all.

I've started going through some of the forum posts for the challenges as they release and I was wondering if there was a guide for the challenges at all: what class is recommended, and such.
I dont think I can go through the forum posts and all, especially some of the really old ones that came sometime pre updates to classes.

Please do help and thank you in advance! :)

My main goal is to try and get the Necro Paragon class, and anything else thats really cool. I have the helm from Riorr that helps reduce crits majorly already, so looking at things like that - Utility over bragging rights.

Your best bet is to check Youtube for videos or to ask around at the DragonFable Discords.

First of all, welcome to the realm of the endgame fighters, and good luck maintaining sanity and patience. You’ll need plenty if you wish to have a career on this arena.

As @Astral has stated, most of the details concerning turn by turns of fights can be found on YT. @Astral also has made plenty of vids concerning that. You can also look at Korriban Gaming’s YT page for the same quality. Do note that as of 06/16/2021, lots of video guides might not offer the same sound advice due to a massive change in the Inn.

While this should normally be in the strategy thread, I’ll give you some tips on the solo Abomination and the Legion Crawler. LC is relatively weak as of right now since for whatever reason long before the 06/16 changes, his increasing attack count skill has been culled and only does one strike regardless of how many times it’s used, making the blind skill the tricky part on him (relatively unfazing on max lvl, might be a boon on your level) and also ensuring that you have as much time on your side to win against him. Abomination, on the other hand, applies a Poison element DoT that he can increase in power at random instances which he can then catalyze for a potentially fatal nuke+heal skill every 10 actions (unstunned turns. Abomination is one of few Inn bosses you can stun without consequences). While I have yet to try my run against them with CW, in case you fail with the aforementioned class, Necro is a good choice against either one (you can find optimal skill usages for this class in the DF Endgame wiki). Be warned, get ready to receive one nuke+heal from abomination as how my rerun went. If my mental simulations are correct, you shouldn’t if successful in CW usage. In terms of arsenal, yours is questionable but should suffice as these two are the last of the weakest bosses you’ll encounter (it’s a general rule of thumb that the difficulty increase after the Nefarious board is dramatic).

EDIT: After doing a single run on both solos, I can confirm CW has more than the capacity to end them before they end you without resorting to in-battle gear swapping. Do note that you might not get the same results if you don't have a 200 PROT dragon at the minimum as you lack a shield that can help set up your crit booster skill.

Thank you both! Astral, I've started seeing your guides and hopefully I can get and use the Batael artifact cos the video that described it makes it seem beast.
And Leon, I tried it with necromancer, and I managed to solo the Abomination alone.
When I have to fight both of them, I can barely last a minute. I tried with MSW, Riftwalker, Technomancer, and even Death Knight. But Idk.. Nothing seems to be working for me.
I only recently changed my stats from a more hybrid build to a more Strength focused one. Maybe I need to change all my equipment too?

Hmm, that's odd. Necro can certainly do plenty of duos and trios, and this should be within its capacity. BSW can do it, as that was what I used to earn my bracer. DK without its relics is too mundane to use in anything. Technically, all classes that you listed should do just fine, so it must be a combination of equipment and level differences in power and outcomes. If you still have the DCs to spare, Pyro might be able to do it. Otherwise, Ranger has a decent kit. For the latter, @Astral's YT page; for both, Endgame wiki to the rescue. Both have offense/defense balance. Should you try to blaze them down, maintain healing mode for as long as the foes are beyond safe kill range. Recommended sequencing for now would be Abomination first, LC last. Of course, no one will stop you to resorting to the Baron Dante special (Paladin shenanigans).

Sorry for the late reply. I've been a bit under the weather.

I've been unable to find a rotation that allows me to work with necromancer for the Necro Paragon double fight.

But I've been through Astral's videos and managed to win once against Vaal. Hoping to try a similar strategy against Xan, but that damned DOT is a pain in the neck.

Paladin Shenanigans are beyond me, it would seem, as I've started looking at what he's done in the past couple of videos, but again, I dont seem to be able to hit anything like that (In terms of turn progression and what not).

So far, all the things you've mentioned have helped a lot, but I still seem a little clueless on how to make Necro work for me.

That's alright, real life first.

Before things go out of had, earning NP isn't about clearing the Undead Duo column. You need 1 Timetorn Medal. It's comprised of 10 Timetorn Teleshards from the Timetorn Matrices. I recommend doing the small one to reduce mapping difficulties. The good thing is this is the labyrinth that is the foundation of Zeclem's, so you should know how collecting miscs in TT will work. Finally, merge the 2 miscs from the solos of Undead Duo column. Merge the latter with the former, NP is yours. The Duo fight is just for the bracer, which is best in slot (BiS) for a long time now.

Before I continue guiding you in Egomaniacs, a column even I test out my mettle but fail, please use this template and post in the the strat thread in the GD:
quote:

Monster/Quest Name:
Character Link:
Dragon Amulet (yes/no):
Level:
Build:
Weapons Equipped:
Accessories Equipped:
Stats:
Pets Equipped:

Notes:

All I can tell you before we risk threadlock is Egomaniacs is one of the few challenges that encourage elemental resistance buildups.
