Next time, inquiries like this should be in the Battle Strategy thread found in General Discussion. The kneel strike (sets player HP to 50% if above that threshold, HP to 1 if less than that) is autohit, meaning it is futile to try to evade it. Pirate and Techno are top candidates on top of my head for this, both having low hitcount, skillsets that can maim the mech rider before his armor becomes a pain (techno has a -45 AllRes effect, pirate has a retailator and an array of blinds), and healing factor.
If the reason you need to bring a guest dragon is to gain access to its skills, just equip it as a pet then engage Manual Pet Actions in Settings. With the game as is, going beastmaster beyond pets is... exotic, to say the least. You'd really have to be willing to have more incoming damage on top of reduced exp/gold yields for that, slowing your levelling and adding a layer of RNG that might bite back at you.
