I just returned playing after a 4 year break. Honestly, the stat revamp, got me interested in playing again. Kudos to the team.
I recently shifted my stats from DEX to the following. Not sure if this was the right call for a Warrior Backlash build with Strong Pets. Open to suggestions.
My current stats are:
STR - 250
CHA - 220
Luck - 225

Otherwise, these are my questions:

1. Can I get recommendations on equipment? Or is there a Guide page I can follow to catch up? I have some DEX weapons, so I would need help on STR equivalents.
2. I am interested in Backlash builds as well, I think its really cool. Are there others, on forums I am seeing Umazen Aspis
3. I went to Manage Account portal, and I can't seem to upgrade my Zardnado Painting from 115 to above. There isn't a section on Housing items for me to upgrade. Can you advise?

1: The adventure quest wiki on fandom should have you covered on the gear side of things for getting the warrior equivalents. Equipment Guide
2: For backlash the best things are the Doomlight packages, but there are some free to play ones like the mummy master craft set. Granted they don't perform against the package items well. Off the top of my head getting the fan from the latest Snugglefest is a decent way to get backlash in a guest for gold, but if you have a golden box of the right rank there is also a mic that provides it as an alt toggle. The fan's proper name escapes me but the Mic is called the summoning stone.
3: For upgrading the painting you will just have to sell it and buy the higher rank event when Shark Week comes around again.
4: For two more sources of backlash in pet and guest form with a few extra perks. The Essence of Carnage Guest from the Summer Solstiace event but make sure you are caught up on the War story line before hand for the best xp from a story telling perspective/ not spoiling quests you might want to play so may want to hold off on that one till then. For the pet the Angra Linnorm from the Haunted Dragonlord Set provides some backlash, and a buff to your own damage a bit at the cost of their effects both being weaker with Carnage following suit in the proper mode. Carnage also has a mode set more for mages but not really relevant unless you have things that consume mp for some reason.

Not a build I've tried but as a warrior main I can at least put you towards the gear guide and a few items I know that fit the build. You may want some End for backlash given you will be taking hits, and a greater hp pool+ better potions might help smooth some content for you but not necessary if you go dodgelash. Do double check any replacement items to make sure you can upgrade them as say Angel of Souls+ the related items requires a replay given they can't be upgraded via the upgrader. Still hope it helps you out a bit even if getting a main backlash user might help even better. And swinging by for a quick few more suggestions that came to mind as point 4.

Plus, its very convenient there is a guide like this for returning gamers. AQ getting better over the years.

Do be aware it might not be fully up to date given the recent stat changes but hey it's easy enough to move stats around now to experiment. Granted as I mentioned the Doomlight stuff may be your best option for backlash. I most also point out that guide is a fan thing vs an official one but still a very good source of info. Either way hope you do enjoy the game enough to stick around, and enjoy it once more.
