Hello,

I do 1 battle a day for myself to be eligible to get Z-Tokens from this gifting event, though I have received none yet. Need I do more than 1 battle daily to count as an "active" user?

Correct, if you donate and/or battle, then afterwards you'll have a 24 hour window from that period where you'll be able to receive a donation. See informational post. However, it's worth noting that most of the donating activity happens within the first 2 weeks and usually around the last week before the contest is over. But if you keep playing you should at least be able to get a receipt between now and the end of the contest. Otherwise in general to increase your chances of getting a receipt you should be playing with every character in your account as receipts are based on characters, not single accounts.
