It is tez awesomeness. I love the clouds one, it ends up better than a fire background tut in my opinion.

Just where is the "difference tool" you talked aout at.

in GIMP 2.4 you have a new filter (which is actually a script) called difference clouds. it's in the same menu as the solid noise filter and it's excatly what we did in the tutorial (adding a solid noise layer on diffrence mode)
