 You know the drill. Dropoffs arenas get separated to ease the madness of OOC posts.

Added a bit of background to Farsith, both to explain his madness and to reveal what he truly is: A soul consumed by darkness, driven into madness by the betrayal of his only friend...
Sorry if that was supposed to have been clarified before, though it really has no effect on his abilities other than the magic he is now able to use...

Interesting arena, though not quite I expected...

Ronin: Is the entire Fountain Arena underwater, or are there landstrips on the sides? And does it get deeper into the middle?(If so, how much?)


I don't mean to be nitpicky or what-not, but I just want to be sure for the EC. Little anxious, that's all.

 Yes, once you step past the gate entrance itself, you will be to some degree submerged.

No, it does not get any deeper than midcalf on a average human male. Which is somewhere between 1 ft and 1.5 feet, I didn't bust out the ruler to check when writing the description itself. Once I find one, I can give an exact measurement if you'd prefer. Otherwise, just wing it appropriately.

These questions are of the good, useful variety rather than the annoying kind, anyway, so you are fine.

Consider me out of the EC. I have pressing matters for the first 4 days and it is all an issue of bad timing. I am sorry, but Silvannen Aurus decided he would go home and train for another year after spotting the fierce competitors he would need to face, he will return, perhaps more refined and skilled, next year.

Enter the trainee of last year's Wind Champion! Just for clarification's sake, she walked around the left side (as you enter) of the pool, avoiding the people near the entrance and is now facing the gate from the opposite side of the arena.

My post is up in Cellar.

Frozt, as I stated in my bio, Dragonsalt is poisonous to most beings who are not draconic. Though exotic races may well be exempt from it, regular humans certainly are not. The substance is contained in the shards, the water, and the staff... pretty much every part of the deathtrap Farsith finds himself kneeling in. :-P

Symptoms of Dragonsalt, as with most poisons, vary in severity according to the level of exposure. However, they include nausea, vomiting, fever, and the shakes. Even at its worst, the poison itself is not lethal until you run out of fluids by vomiting them or sweating them out. It does, however, make it rather difficult to fight when one is in such a condition.

 Cheeseliker, where exactly is Gub, is he still near the enterance? I ask because I wonder if your knife would have passed close to any of the fighters near the middle of the arena, including my character Zenz.

@GoN: As said, Farsith is a soul consumed by madness... This makes him disregard his body, not caring if anything happens to it...
He is therefore, while not unable to feel the Dragonsalt, not bothered by it... Although it will most likely tire him out, and it might even hinder him...
