Hi,

My suggestion is to make a "Random Q&A Forum" in the OOC Room as one of its Subforums. Just like yahoo answers. For example, a question would be: How do you get *insert sonething in the video game here* in *insert videogame here*? Well, what do you think about this suggestion?

Pretty much any question you have not relating to AE or its games is better answered somewhere else than on these forums, having a Q&A for these types of questions just seems like a good way to end up causing trouble because someone gives a bad answer (especially for threads like personal advice or technical support).

What I meant was that people can give out questions, just not personal stuff. For example: "what is the difference between pie and cake?" It was just an example, not someone would actually ask.

Right, but people are still better off looking elsewhere for answers to any question that isn't AE-related. To use the example in your first post, if the question was "how do I get this item in this game", there are sites like GameFAQs specifically for the purpose of answering those questions.

I sense a lot of spam coming if they do make this happen.

I think this will answer your Suggestion;

quote:

  • No Advice threads
    We are a game forum... we are not "Dear Abby" And getting life advice from complete strangers is generally a bad idea. This includes any tech support threads - the OOC is not qualified to provide any technical assistance.

  • Taken From =OOC= The Rules Of OOC.

    Also to add something to Zyrain: You'd need extra AK/Mods just to make sure nobody breaks the rules. That would require more as a day and night job which is kinda impossible.
