Weapon's On-Hit special is only exclusive to its Level 90 version.
Blade of Destiny's On-Hit special is able to to activate alongside its On-Demand special.
Weapons are animated; the Elemental Spirit part of the blade glows periodically.
The following changes were implemented to Blade of Destiny (50-80) on January 28th, 2019:- Special's damage was increased from 3 hits of 100% damage (300%) to 3 hits of 200% damage (600%).
- Rate was lowered from 20% to 10%.
The following changes were implemented to Blade of Destiny (50-80) on February 5th, 2021:- Special's damage was lowered from 3 hits of 200% damage (600%) to 3 hits of 75% damage (225%).
- Activation rate was increased from 10% to 20%.
- A 'Weaken' effect that applied -30 Light Resist to target for 5 turns inclusive was added.
A Level 90 version was released as a direct upgrade to Blade of Destiny (80) on June 3rd, 2022.
The following changes were implemented to Blade of Destiny (90) on July 8th, 2022:- Previously had the description: You have helped Ash complete his quest to become a Knight! The Blade of Destiny is yours.
- An On-Hit special that applied 'Overwhelming Light' (-30 Light Resist) to target for 3 turns inclusive on a 7% chance was added.
- On-Attack special's activation rate was modified from 20% to 7%.
The following changes were implemented to Blade of Destiny (50-90) on September 1st, 2023:- Level 90 version previously had the description: You have helped Ash complete his quest to become a Knight! The Blade of Destiny is yours. Has a chance on hit to reduce foe's Light resistance by 30 for 3 turns.
- 'Weaken' effect was removed from its On-Attack Special.
- Special's damage was increased from 3 hits of 75% damage (225%) to 3 hits of 100% damage (300%).
- 'Overwhelming Light' was replaced by a Non-Crit/Crit Damage Reduction effect called 'Destiny's Light Guard'.
- On-Hit special's activation rate was increased from 7% to 10%, which can also be increased to 20% if player attacks with the Light element.
- On-Attack special's activation rate was increased from 7% to 20% for the Level 90 version.
On-Demand special's damage was reduced from 3 hits of 100% damage (300%) to 3 hits of 67% Light damage (201%) on September 8th, 2023.
