im pretty sure im supposed to PM seahawk if i wanna change my name right? i did that but im not sure if i included enough info.. like do i have to provide a password, an email? all i sent was the name. and i DID look up to make sure it wasnt taken....im confused

If you have provided the name you wish to change it to, there is enough.

Seahawk explained in this previous thread that there is no need to send your current password. Just make sure the e-mail linked to your forum account is valid.

As explained in the FAQ:

According to the Staff and ArchKnight List, Seahawk is responsible for changing your forum name. You only get one rename, so make sure you really want the new name, nobody else already has the name, and you have a good reason. If, after all that, you're sure you still want the name change, then send him a PM and ask nicely. But remember that he's a busy hawk, so please be patient!
