Sorry to say I totally disagree with your ideas. The way I see us, F2P'ers, is people that want to be the best (who doesn't?), most incapable to do so mostly by finacial reasons. As such, some of us F2P'ers complain too much without a reason.
On the other side, we part of the community as well, paying or not, we still human people behind fictional characters. As such, and speaking in the name of the F2P'ers, I state that we have rights too and we are not Varium players' cannon fodder nor lab rats by any means.

I sincerely hope your were not heavily affected by Angels Holocaust personality, such it would be a shame if you choose to follow such a twisted way.

No. Not in the arcade. However, I think this game should have a version of ballyhoo. 100 credits per promo video, 10% chance for 5 varium, 6% chance for 10 varium, 3% chance for 25 varium, and 1% chance for 100 varium. A total 20% chance for small varium prizes so loyal nonvariums would be able to purchase helms, cheaper enhancement slots, and maybe even a weapon after a few weeks of devout video watching. The amounts of varium involved would be very small, and other companies would pay a lot to be advertised, so It would be a good move.

^^ I must say I totally agreed with you both. Arcade is a game of chance, believing someday you would be able to get Varium by the hundreds from it is being a bit dreamy and unrealistical by those who have such thoughts. The Devs would never bet granted money they could earn on Varium packs in such a way.

However, you have full support about the Ballyhoo implementation in this game. IT IS an AE game now afterall.
Plus, providing the ED Development Team can reach a consensus with such companies, it would be a win/win/win situation: said companies profit from being advertised, ED benefits by receiving funds and players are awarded for their dedication.
So, I ask, why not? Seems a very fair, just, interesting (to say the least) and profitable solution to me!

Well I agree with BarneypwnsU. Varium drops in the Arcade would be sweet indeed. However, I think small amounts of 5-25 varium just like Ballyhoo gives in the other AE games. This would allow us to change our hairstyles at least.

Perhaps if this were to be implemented and everyone was wearing varium hairstyles then a suggestion would be to allow varium users the option to buy a special hairstyle for a one off fee that we won't have to keep paying everytime we customise our avatars.

I guess all the poor people in this world (people that aren't able to buy food to feed themselves, let alone varium) are there to be "stomped on" also eh?

im just saying if u can hardly afford food u wouldn't be dumb enough to spend money on a computer and internet
i dont mean to be mean about it but its the truth
anyone who us poor most likely doesn't have a computer and internet. and i dont blame them its a messed up world with greedy people out there over pricing everything
and i wouldn't be surprised if someone pops up next saying ED is overpriced because in some ways i would agree to that.
i mean we dont even have varium sellbacks.
once u spend ur varium on a weapon u wont get it back if u want to sell that weapon.

Iv'e got 1 thing to say,you varium players enjoy your wins.It's not your fault of how the game is set up,so winning shouldn't go with guilt.The guilt should to nightwraith,for saying 1 thing but his actions in the developing of epicduel completely contradict that,then he wonders why people ask questions?




and insulting nightwraith is going to get this added... how..?

 @Xxbbooxx,taking an old post from someone and then quoting is just some way of trying to suck me into an argument.I get challenged by people every time i show face here.But i won't be pulled in.I didn't insult him,go look at epicduel and walk through the shops.At lvl 30 there's 2 wrist blades to choose from for that lvl in the entire game for free players.

This game has so many shops that it would seem impossible,yet it's true.The rest is varium.Iv'e stated earlier that i did buy me varium now.But i won't be biased just because of that fact.What makes me better,because i payed?Maybe i supported the game,but there's no need to be walking around expecting i should get everything to myself,like some royal unchallenged king.

Yes,at the time i was frustrated but what i said is still the undeniable truth.I'm past the point where i care what gets implemented and what doesn't,which makes this discussion with you void.

What i do care about though is actually having to think before i can win.Just because i bought varium,that doesn't mean i want to win every battle against a free player.I want them to be a challenge if they have good equipment and even make me pay if i make mistakes.

Anything else you care to discuss?

As a side note,currently i'm about 850xp away from lvl31 and i'm still non varium.I'm saving it for lvl32 so i can actually make use of it.

 Wish i'd saved mine until the last level (lvl 31 now), I spent nearly 5K in a few days.. and boy do i regret that. Won't be able to get any more for a while now.
