I think people with this badge sould get something(like founders)
some of us came here 1 year later than founders since Epicduel was publish
But what the heck we deserve something too
dont you think....?

That actually sounds pretty great. Maybe a Dragonslayer armor?

No necessarily, because then all the Rixty(example) players will want something. Everyone who made a purchase of some kind and got an achievement or weapon will want something as well. And will just cause commotion through the forums and many complaints will be made.

But maybe some sort of other achievement or weapon :)

EDIT:
I like button33's idea, maybe a yearly achievement or item :)

True. Like in AQW, you have he chance to become a upholder every year during it's birthday. The upholders get something.
Year of the dragon is like that achievement. We deserve something too.

Rixty didn't come with an achievement and this achievement was only made possible due to DragonCon which was a major event for the staff.

Very true, my apologies I had forgotten that you had to go to DragonCon, which is why I like Button33's idea of getting a yearly item or achievement.

You are officially considered "greedy," only when you have asked for something that the other had already said "No" or have declined.

This is the first time that a reward should be given to Year of the Dragon Players, so therefore this is not being greedy at all. If another topic like this turns up (and is posted by the same user) when the first has been deleted or locked then it is considered "greedy."

Correct me if I'm wrong,
but wasn't the Dragon Weapons the reward for upgrading at this time? -.-
I don't see why there should be more. :|

I was referring to the whole community, and I speak as someone who has Year of the Dragon.

^The Dragonmaster acheivment was given to people who purchased a dragon weapon during Dragoncon. Year of the Dragon is more like 1st upholder I think.

i think 1st upholders should either get the 1k var or a weapon to commemorate them getting the achievement. (i'm totally not biased XD)

I don't think we should get anything from it. We could get this achievment with any varium package. I did AExtras to get it only cost me 2,000 points.

I think this topic is just trying to take advantage of the situation about founders.

There are Founders without armor, so there are maybe "dragons" without varium.
I wouldn't mind, as there are also many much more "dragons" with varium

I think some of you guys are mixing up the achievements here. What the original poster is asking for is a bonus for buying varium in the first birthday of EpicDuel and getting the Year Of The Dragon achievement. It's the same thing as 1st or 2nd upholder in AQW. To that idea I'd like to add that I support them getting a small bonus for buying varium on such a special time.

The achievement you are mixing it with is Dragon Master which was around in September and was awarded for buying any Dragon themed weapon. This achievement is not rare, it's seasonal and people that have this achievement do NOT deserve anything special.

I never mentioned your name, did I ? I saw 2 or 3 posts where people were mixing those 2 achievements, so I had to clear it up.

No. To get that is to just be here around winter time and buy a 50 dollar 10k varium package and get FrostBane for free. Founders have been here since the very beginning and paid a wholelot more then 50 dollars I bet. Maybe not all but especially the big founders.
