Isn't calling this something for people who helped test during the launch of the new battle system a bit of an oxymoron being that its still available for purchase and rare for anyone even now?

Ya but they didnt want us to think that we simply ended up with a piddly achievment for spending aprox. $10 varium... You'l notice alot of releases have a disguised price con such as enhancements, All time rareity baord etc. It's hard to not think that them making profit would have been the biggest thing in thier mind when the make these decesions all the time.

I have no problem with this being a profit based system. But don't tell a bold faced lie in the design notes, Cmon!

It is "marked" rare now lol. And if you read the wording carefully they never said it would be rare and "gone". Does'nt that make you feel better?

 verry bad -_- i got a new acc baught 10k var i wasnt here for 2 weeks came back thaught if i get it i get the achievement -_- gues what i payed 1200 vaR FOR NOTHING :D lambolzzz
and for a player that doesnt read the dns and doesnt check forums + twitter i would call this a robbery :D ya i got robbed 1200 var for 20k credits witch is equal to 200 var :D

Player who doesn't read forums + twitter wouldn't even know that gold card gave achievment.

Wait...so you are telling me they Gold Card is marked "rare" as promised BUT has not gone rare? That completely contradicts the term "rare" in the first place. Something can't be "rare" if its not "rare". This means anyone can spend Varium and get a rare item. THIS MAKES NO SENSE! Why are they doing this to us....They completely just scammed us using a play on words. Dam.

Why isn't the gold card gone yet its suppose to be rare, suppose to be replaced by the silver card.

reason why the gold card is there is to give the varium players an option to get the gold card using varium insteda of using 20k creds to get the silver card. i m sure teh card will go rare soon but yeah i think the devs want to "scam" people to buy that worthless $10 card. The devs just love scamming people eh.

I got robbed like all of you, buying the card.

But the biggest scam in my opinion stays unoticed. The rebalance.

They nerfed everybody but they put out enhancements on every weapons. So in order to get your old strenght back, you have to pay... That is a genius scam.

Not forgetting the popular teleport to every area with house scam yes peopel who used var to get 4 houses were practicaly scammed too now houses are useless. same goes with teh gold card it is a scam and i feel sorry for those who got the card.

 Well you still get the rarity score (I think), which is about as useful as the achievement.

I wont call it a scam but it wasnt the most popular varium purchase I've ever made :)

Newsflash... Don't make it a rare if you intend to keep it ingame for a few weeks...

Lots of rare items are in the game for more then a week. We know we can't make every player happy. People that have it want it rare... people that still want it dont want it to go rare yet. We try to accommodate between the 2 even if its not the most popular choice.

While I can not give specifics, cards will have multiple purposes in the future. So if you feel scammed (12) or think its a scam (13) The feature isn't feature complete yet. Please try to keep that in mind. We are a small team and we have a lot we are working on. Just they aren't really apparent and exciting to players ( and us ) unfortunately.
