Flaming and trolling are two of the best things that you can do in a game.

And flaming trollers is the best of all.

On topic: There is too much flaming in this forum, however my EpicDuel battles are dominated by silence/occasional lighthearted comments rather than flaming.

I totally agree. There is too much bad language and general nastiness, here and in game.

While I understand that some players get frustrated, I still see no need for bad mouthing of any sort.

If a player has a problem, then find someone willing to help. There is always help on the forums. eg. Q&A,Epicduelwiki, battle strategy etc.

So you want to draw attention to yourself by being different.
Different is good, as we are all different.

BUT that does not condone the loss of respect, generally good manners and thoughtfulness towards others.

imo

Because the General Discussion thread has become a place for complainers. Look closely at all the complaing, flaming, negative threads here....It makes up for about 95%...

AND most of the regular posting members do not even play the game anymore or rarely... They post that they are quiting but will still be on forums. Completly ludicrous.

Instead of complaining (again) about trolls, why don't you stop feeding them ?

Complaining about scams, stop trying to get free varium and cheats.

Complaining about swearing, insults ect.., INGNORE button.

I totally agree Fay. I don't even mind if a player uses fowl language but the lack of respect is just sickening.

Constructive!

MrBones is quite correct that this section is now becoming the expression of disapproval. Honestly, I personally don't mind, because every who has supported this game is entitled to their opinion.

What I do find a ponder, we have such creative and innovative players in this game, and when they have a constructive idea they wish to share and desire feedback, their posts go to the suggestions thread.

Lately, I made a post about "Build Breaker", I moderated the thread myself, and I was only seeking opinions from all perspectives to see if this idea could be improved upon. And it had, I made small adjustments to my "Suggestion version" of the post and I found the interaction wonderful.

I feel if AEF would allow players to be more creative in their expressions, there would be more positive posts to mingle with the other types.

Maybe for suggestion posts on General Discussions, if they allow the author of the thread to self moderate their thread for a given period of time to see positive or negative feedback, then after the time has expired (24/72 hours) the thread can be closed, and they can link the opinions into their suggestions thread.

Here in example of how the thread went. I think it was a positive experience.

In regard to in-game, only a positive supportive community will be able to assist the difficult issues. By being positive and expressively kind to others, it will help the overall game and its players.

I agree with you. First of all I thought this was a General discussion thread, but to some people it's classed as Flaming thread.

Every good thread is crushed by flaming/trolling so what the owners of the threads do is flame back the threads of the flamers, is just a shame cycle but like most of here say, WHO CARES!

Short answer: Yes.

Long answer: Yes, and if people don't take my advice and cut it out, they won't be staying here.
