If you go second...you have no compensation for it. They go first, they can kill you faster. Has ED got an idea for Second Turn Compensation?

Whoever has more support should go first, and that means they put more points into support so your compensation is the points you put into other stats besides support.

how is this a problem? if there was some sort of compensation, support builds would lose what ever tiny advantage they had left.

exactly, and luck improves go first chance in every ae game that has an optional chance to not hit first (aq, mq, wf, etc)

But I noticed if a player is lower then your lvl by 2 he goes first, and if your lvls are equal you support is what you need ;P

lol, I had 21 support and I was testing it on this guy with 150+ support and I still went 1st 90% of thd time...

( both level 33 )

As a 141 support merc, I go 2nd to below 40 sup mercs countless times :/
For some reason i think str now increases your chance to go 1st :/

 Yep just another problem with ED.

Just like Sun Guardian said, whoever has the highest support should go first and the 2nd turn compensation would be the points not put into support.

Shame how 150 support goes 2nd to a 30 support so often.

But remember the balance factor isn't about strategy and fair play. It's about luck and making it possible for button mashers to beat those trying to utilize strategy.
