75% of the players are TLM.
-Why?
-Becuase they are Overpowered
-Who made this class
-Nightwraith and Titan!


Nerf them or buff BM and CH!

Seriously just stop! We don't care about threads no more, it's a fact so why cares?

Balance update that was delayed recently - expect it to be big and I mean it. Static Charge will get big revamp (known from Cindy sometime ago (last week) in one of her posts) so good thing for CH and there was a thread about buffing Caster classes - BM and TM!
Seriously just stop whining and give it a time. Don't like the game now? Don't play it and come back sometime later to see if it changed as you wanted..

I agree with the percentage throwing
but you have to admit, You see more Tact mercs than anything else combined

as a BloodMage I actualy had to make a Very abusive Dex build to have a chance against STR builds

Honestly it could go either way as far as buffing or nerfing.

Whatever they do I hope they do it right this time. I'm not sure if the problem is the inexperienced testers, the coding, or what but something needs to be done.

TaM's aren't exactly overpowered per-say. There just easier to make a good build with making just about anyone good with it.

If they choose to nerf it needs to be something defensive. This could be a nerf to their heal, hybrid, reroute, more on frenzy, or anything really. High defenses plus reroute is tough for anyone. You guys say "Oh but there not getting much energy back" Guess what, your getting more back that way and keeping your health than a Techy with low defenses and taking huge amounts of damage.

Remember it rounds up as well so 3 hits causing 40 damage total will give you more energy than 1 hit dealing 40 damage. Personally I'd rather get more turns not sure about you.

So many of the same threads everyday think I'll just start copying and pasting lol

adding a dex requirement for reroute and removing technician is the key. the it limits them. however the devs dont want that.
to be truthfully honest i dont see why they have technician in their skill tree.
they have hybrid and shouldn't have any other defensive skills.

and removing hybrid wont solve anything. it will force them to 1 single build.
and if u are suggesting to remove hybrid then u clearly dont give a flipping banana about balance.

That's not nearly enough unless that dex req is like 60 lol. Also have to remember this will affect Non-V's as well who will have a tougher time meeting the reqs and ultimately the ones being nerfed while the V's remain unscathed. How many builds aren't already meeting a dex req?

A good str build needs dex and if you got the delta maul your already at 38 minimum.

Bot build is more than likely 45 each stat.

Support build with Delta Destroyer 33 dex i believe and Azraels Bane 34.

Also with a high dex req your just giving them more def because they still have a 12 hybrid.

Technician is also fine. Let that stay. If they don't want to remove Hybrid then perhaps an increased nerf to frenzy and a decrease in the effect of reroute for TaM's? If they can't change the effect of a skill based on class then introduce a new type of modified reroute for TaM's only.

from what i've seen most of the ppl on here are TLM but thats from what i experienced. they are gonna balance the game out ok.
dont blame staff for them being OPed. all it takes is a couple of ppl to find the most OPed build of the class and exploit it.
so imagine this....
if no one used TLM and used CH and a few ppl found an OPed build for that and then everyone would be complaining about them.
the reason why they are the most seen is because ppl want to be the best in the game. they see astrong build on a class they use that class so imagine if TLM nerfed and CH/BH got a buff and then every1 seen that CH/BH are the best classes in the game. there would be more of them around then ppl that are TLM and maybe sum BM/TM would start complaining about us

still tho technician shouldn't be there.
hybrid isn't OP however i do believe that having hybrid means they should have no other means of getting def/res
that includes technician.

its not the builds that are OP. its the fact people can look at ur profile and see all of ur stats and skill tree.

IMO
until they remove the option of players being able to view our stats and skill tree, there wont be true creativity or balance.
imagine how things would have went if people weren't able to copy builds.
the original creators of the builds would still hold power and no other player would be able to copy the build exactly unless they told each other.

this would also stop players from being lazy, and players would try all kinds of builds. then there wouldn't be a need for all the pointless nerfs we had in the past.

becuase ppl whanted new classes and now they are complaining.

I have an idea (that isn't removing hybrid , as I don't wanna start a flame war)

How about they trade Static charge for reroute and give CH reroute.

And Trade maul for stun grenade and give maul to Cyber hunters (but change the name and wepon requirements.)

That way you kill two birds with one stone. Nerf the main Oped TLM builds (eg. str builds) and buff CH to a good standard.

ur assuming most str tac merc use maul.
to me maul is only a last resort attack (usualy and mostly used against str bh) if im about to go down.

and CH could probably have a good heal loop.
with the blocks from shadow arts + reroute + all the skills like cheapshot and mass stacked together, and a raisable chance dont u think that would be OP?

^Oped... Not at all.

Bloodlust and shadow arts is a better combo.
Hybrid and reroute is ALOT! better.
Heck even Reroute and Deadily aim is better.

Shdow arts is often overestimated when your on the reciving end.

Plus I know maul is a last resort thing, But it's not as mean as taking Double strike away and one of the three, Double, Maul, or frenzy should be removed to effect str TLM's so I chose maul. (which would basicaly only effect str TLM's)

Tactical Merc was not designed to take over the game. In all actuality between our group of testers and the various changes throughout our creation of the classes TLM simply ended up getting a buff too many and the devastating power not noticed until moments before the release, where in it would have taken a few days to correctly fix the class because changing ones power level typically put it out of whack with the other two. We had no silly money sucking, game wrecking, and balance destroying idea for a class and made it that way, nor honestly is it that way.

The real issue here is people all flocked to the "OP Class" in attempts to crush others. We forced no one to switch classes, but the community felt they must because everyone else was doing so as well. Each TLM build can be defeated just like any other build, we are aware that it does need some tweaking as do the other classes, and the next balance update will work wonders towards the goal of making ALL the classes viable options.

Now as this is simply another TLM Complaint Thread it is being locked. Look forward to the next update and until then simply do your best!
