OMG!
I am sure that is what all of you are thinking, followed by a resounding, "What the heck is a WRITER doing in our forum?"
Heh, well, I can do a little art thank you very much. I can do stuff on Flash, I paint and draw and I love to build things, so yes, I actually know something about art. Back in the day I actually HAD a thread in CA. I posted my art, my sigs, my comics. Yes, believe it, baby. Besides, if you really want to get technical, writing is an artform. One that uses words to create pictures, moods, environments, emotions. My words are like your brushes, programs and pencils. *sagenods*
So, what... Oh yeah, so what am I doing here?
Well, I am here for something very specific. I am introducing your new Head of Creative Arts. Khelios was one of my greatest friends and an admirable artist. He was hard working, dedicated and loved what he did for AE. But, as it goes, Real Life (that horrible thing!) called him away.
Searching for a new Head Moderator for any forum is tricky. You have to look at so many things. And, between you and me, certain awesome boards are harder to find Heads than others. *cough* You have to be very special to head creative places like CA, L&L and RP. I mean, let's face it. We are an awesome trio of boards.
ANYWAY...
Superjars, who has served under me in L&L and beside me in L&L, alongside other game forums, has been appointed Head of CA. He is a very compassionate, hardworking kind of guy who works very hard to give the boards he works in the attention it needs and is constantly looking to make it better, not only for those who view it, but for the community that makes it up.
As a very talented writer, he is an artist. Maybe not the kind with brush and paint, but he understands the artist's passion and work ethic. He understands the drive and desires. And, in my opinion, he will do nothing but wonderful things for you.
Many times, the head mod stepping down posts to introduce his or her successor. Seeing as Khelios cannot, I have because I care about the artistic communities and I know Superjars so well. So, it is my pleasure to introduce Superjars to you.
