The story thus far.
I'd intended to start this earlier, but things got in the way - even yesterday, which I was going to devote almost entirely to the story. I'm later than I had intended to be, but I'm working on it nonetheless. I doubt I'll finish it, but I'll get it done. This is the forums-edited version - so far, it's pretty much exactly the original story minus some minor edits, but I'll end up cutting out swaths later as I delve deeper into the story. I'll upload it elsewhere later, but for now, this is the only online version.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy it regardless. I'm going to do my best to make this into a good story, and I hope you enjoy the ride.
