i think static charge is overpowering ch's since when a ch will use static charge (MAX STATIC CHARGE) he'll get 15-20 energy back. whats up with that? ive seen a ch doing 6 damage and getting 17 energy, the description of static charge is "Adds a percentage of the damage you inflict to your energy", what exactly is damage there? their normal damage or damage that isn't calculated in battle yet? this is like the frenzy for ch's, devs nerfed tlm's frenzy, so should they nerf this too?

Actully I think youl find static charge is kinda underpowered.

Since thier whole class basically revolves around that skill as their "passive" which it is not then it being blocked being a complete diasaster for them.

Also Frenzy is actully being given the same bonus as Cyber hunters static charge.

For example.

If you a str TLM you frenzy gives yo 15-20 hp after the change it will give them around 10-15 hp.
BUT:
A TLM with low strength (eg sup TLM) uses frenzy and gain 5-10 hp, after the change it will give them 10-15 so ruffly the same standard as STR TLMs.

So basically the change is frenzy is only negitviely effecting str TLMs and this is a good thing since the are massively OPED. Not because the can get a high win% but because they can be used effectively without barely any strategy aka LAZY WINS.

To be honest, CH would be perfect with something like Static Charge and Reroute together but a bit different - less EP back from damage received + % of damage back as MP. So like weak Reroute and Bloodlust but EP instead of HP and also weaker (so it won't be too strong and needed to be changed..).
Or possible solution for both TLMs and CHs would be simply swapping 2 skills, Reroute and Static Charge. Don't know if it'd be good way to balance things, mainly for TLMs but I wouldn't mind as long as it'd be perfectly balanced. :P

are you high? static gets blocked 50% of the time. ch is weakest class and your saying it's overpowered. if your a tactical merc -_-

Buddy, I get 24 energy back on my static charge and you think that is OP (LOL!). Do you understand what I have to go through? I have to put 80 points in total on strength, some on technology, and the rest on dexterity. I get 48 energy every 4 turns... I MUST choose a lousy strike skill to get it... I MUST find ways to avoid being blocked... I MUST have enough strength to get the correct amount of points.

Fyi static charge gives energy based on strength and weapon damage, not damage absorbed by whoever we hit.

My support is carpy, its about 25(?), I usually rage 1.5 times later than most people, I usually get hit by critical hit. But the difference between me and you is that I am not complaining with Q_Q as my face.

I'll help. :P

How is Static Charge OPed when 1 good hit of AtomSmash/EMP can take it away? Besides, most battles aren't long enough for them to loop it excessively.

Static charge needs to be unblockable.
I cannot tell you how many times I've rage quit because it blocked.
It works the same way as frenzy.


It's fine as it is. You would utterly destroy CH if you killed static charge. You want to nerf the weakest class beyond repair? And you guys are searching for BALANCE? Sad.
It seems appropriate, based on how weak this class is. I love it, it has it's ups and downs, but it's awesome.

statoc charge also ignores 100% defense. It was on one of the design notes that Cindy posted but I don't know why it is not on thr description.

^ I believe it ignores 100% of any resistance that would subtract energy accumulation. Damage is normal.

Static Charge's energy gainback ignores the enemy's resistance/defense, while the actual damage does not. Although when I've been using static charge it gets blocked far too much.=/

Frostlich i've never had a quarrel with your ideas so far, but the idea of nerfing a class that has no passive skill that influences MP and HP, or a class that cannot influence being able to hit more often is a bad idea.

My static charge is constantly blocked, mainly by Strength TLMs with much lower dexterity and smokescreen, causing my stat points to be wasted as I can no longer hit, block etc. Then my entire strategy is useless.

Shut up and stop arguing it, half the times it's blocked by TLM's just be happy we don't have reroute or else you're the first person i'm after.
