@DeathGuard You're encouraging him to post more of his comments regarding the same thing that started this arguement and of course others will probably reply to it again so basically thats just encouraging that arguement to continue.

Bot for non-vars next update please! It's about time for it to come out since we hited lv 34 cap. If youre lv 34 nonvar then you fight pretty much only full vars so bot would give more strategy and fun.

The thing is there is no point of doing real battles when you hit the level cap as a non-varium. If you press one on one, you fight varium players with level 34 weapons and the recent frost weapon with no chance of fighting a level 29. In two on two, you just get screwed with bad partners where the other team is two level 32-33 full varium players. The way I see it is that unless level 34 weapons are introduced, nonvarium players are going to be screwed for a very long time. Also, the first level 33 weapons introduced for nonvariums were approximately only two months before the level cap raised.

While that does that include balance changes, there is still a point where balance suggestions become completely unrelated to the changes that have been made.

Well beside CH being sickly OP there's also 1 thing I don't like about this update. Technically it just buff some builds instead of the whole class and doesn't leave much creative left. Like BM CH is nearly forced on STR, TM is still rolling around SC builds, Merc still use that same skill
I hoped for a better balance change however

well non var really need a lot of things but well i dont see them coming any sooner only way u can survive in 2v2 is become a ch/bh which abuse dex and have high sa to counter those annoying varium which use bots. non var tlm can also play as a poison tanker. have tanky stats and use poison to kill those high dex build and tanky builds. a new non var armor and bot would be nice but my hopes are not up cause i do not think the devs would make them. problem with the devs balance update is 5 focus build are not greatly affected because 1) they can evade stat requirements(u know wat i mean 45 in all stats) 2) they just need a bot and they can do massive dmg for free.

@Luna: I started using a 5 focus build for fun, but I got no robot so I got a flaw there, what I want to say you is that we must invested stat points on those stats and our hp can't be so high and the damage for robot if they have one, can't be weaken if you buff you res/def or if you weaken them with malfunction.
About Ch and Bh with multi damage, yes they're a problem but can be beaten, I'm a TM myself and I'm using a energy drainer build with assimilation, I know you're nonvarium but you're a great player and manage to find a build that attack its flaw stronger than ever. About armor, I think the recent nonvarium drop armor is good enough to last for the moments but with bot, I must agree, there should be available a bot to nonvariums, PERMANENT, not seasonal rare or rare, that way all can afford the credits or whatever needed and buy it.

Also, I'm waiting anxiously for another balance update that balances almost all classes, I'm crossing my fingers so that day comes faster.

As far as I'm aware a non var drop armor doesnt exist at the moment

this is getting insane...there are many things that have changed that u may not be satisfied with.

The majority of ppl are CH's so of course you lose to one eventually. As a CH, I find it very tough to kill dex mages and some TLM's.

well, im sorry but that is called a good strategy used by many now. even i use a basic strategy as a CH.

not to be arrogant but how do i win so much? because of good strategy. of course many ppl will copy or make something similiar to it but tbh, if u make any good build, people can say you copied because everyone has made something like that already.
5 focus is a build alternative for balanced fighters like me and requirements were made to WEAKEN stat abuse. thanks :)

King FrostLich, the whole back and forth was about taking technician away from the Blood mage instead of improving it, it need
to be taken away from the Cyber Hunter Class because it would have made EMP even stronger and it needed to take be taken away
from the tact merc as well but why the blood mage when the two things that improves with tech Plasma Cannon/Plasma Rain. Now
without Technician if a Blood Mage gets Malfunctioned how usefull will those skill be. If you look at my other posts it points out
from the begiining of Delta what the Blood mage did not get, what was swapped, what was not improved, and you have to question what will
be swapped out next. You only seen one of my many builds, I change it up often just to test different things. I too have seen your builds and see
that you can easily be defeated. It may be a good class but it can be better.

DeathGuard, My ideas combined would make too perfect of a warrior and would give the otheer classes a bigger challenge
and players of the other classes would not like that as you see here. I fight for improvements to benefit Varium and non Varium
mages blood mages more so because that what I play. A non varium Blood Mage at high levels don't have much of a chance. With taken away
Technician that helped them boost plasma cannon and plasma rain or take away the affect of malfunction those skills are useless to them.
They go for high strength for fireball their defense and resistance is so low they can be easily taken out. They might as well allow Blood mages
to use claws as well. Last, thank you.

IsaiahtheMage, I was pointing out the whole time the things that happen to the Blood Mage with each update and I get attacked
for standing up for that class but when other players stand up for the class they are they don't get attack so what I should do
just get attacked and do nothing, no, I will stand my ground.

Many Blood Mages can succeed even without those skills(Plasma Cannon or Plasma Rain). Notice that the majority of Level 30 - 34 Blood Mages if you even find one, don't max plasma cannon or plasma rain at all? It simply means many aren't in favor of it and Blood Mages prefer to be strength or tank. My current build right now is a pure strength but that isn't my main build anyway, what you saw was designed to kill the arctic guard several times and I am not in favor of strength either. Sure, technician may be removed but that doesn't mean Blood Mage will be downgraded with energy shield.

The point of bringing energy shield was to counter off malfunction more defensively. Technician required huge amounts of dexterity to make it effective when debuffing from malfunction and at the same time, required more skill points to also make bot damage stronger. Energy shield made things more strategic and requires lesser skill points or even none at all provided a Blood Mage has 50+ support. My main build still isn't 'complete' as what I often say to myself and needed more enhancements and like what you said, it can be better but it still lacks stats and where they are placed.


Edit: Besides, Plasma Cannon has already been buffed but scaling level has been reduced. My level 1 Plasma Cannon already does 40-46 energy damage.

Today I enjoyed completing many of the missions and engaging the bomb collection. Uniquely enough, I ended up on the leader board. As I was participating in this war today, I kept pondering, has this brought the community together?

In prior posts, I mentioned there must be restraints on varium advantages. There are other ways one can create like war feature armor and weapons.

The other element I notice now is the daily leader board. I think it undermines players' ability to play as a community. When one is competing for this achievement, essentially they are playing against their own affiliation. I think it is undercutting a player that works hard either by effort or uses varium to compete, and eventually fall short because someone works harder or adds more varium to gain this achievement.

I remember with my faction named Candlelit Rainbow, I just recruited a player and he happened to be competing for the war kills board. He invested 50 dollars to gain the top spot. One hour prior to server reset he had a commanding lead over the others noted on the leader board, so he logged out. About 20 minutes prior to server reset a player entered the leader board who was not there present and won due to a tad more varium investment. It was the risk the player took by leaving; what saddened me most is that he exited our faction and left a message on our board. "I lost" said this player. He spent $50 dollars for opportunity for an achievement; this young child must have been extremely hurt to waste such money on what is essentially gambling; risk.

This Daily chart now is about the same. It is gambling, and as long as there is a money element in it, many players will steer away from participating, and if they do, and they loose, it will be very painful. This is not a community element at all.

Many adults and privileged children can alter this game with the power of their own money, and this is very dangerous in regard to community building when competing is involved.

For future, I do suggest eliminating this board, and create a top 100 board. For all players who worked hard in the entire chapter of the war with a compilation of effort through missions, bombs, and daily participating should be rewarded once the war has concluded. The top 100 would obtain a true war hero achievement for the simple reason, participation.


A true daily achievement is not really possible with this war chart now. One has the ability to sway the advantage through varium bombs, and one is also able to save bombs from previous days to use on their day to compete for achievement.

^Well said JZannu, it's like you're made of wisdom and ideas. I agree with you entirely. Kids are what is keeping this game alive and you know how kids are.
They don't get what they want they ragequit pretty quickly. Part of the reason for all the raging kids in the game is because they know they can't do squat in the game
without varium so they just go berserk and flame innocent players who have done nothing for the hurtful words they say to them. Which enrages players even more which
makes them lash out on the next player they see most likely. There is no fairness in this game at all.

Wow, that is a really sad story :(
That is one real life situation that brings into light the horrors of capitalism.
The War kill feature can essentially be compared to... gambling when used:
1. For this achievement in place of money (e.g. 10 mil real life money)
Except, there is much less risk involved, and more of a chance of winning.
BUT, this war kill feature can be, without a doubt compared to as taking advantage of kids who play this game.

Someone has to rethink this over. Ethically.

And perhaps Jzannu's suggestion, a top 100 board giving achievements to those who are on it might be better.

The war kill feature will be a talked about over and over, because hidden inside it is GREED and ABUSE.

On topic now:
I thought the update on Cyber Hunters and Tactical Mercs were alright. But it really focused on the varium side. Missions are pretty much useless, except for the cheevo. Thanks for the cheevo though.
Next update, I would like to see much more progression, something that will be renewable, content that is interesting and open-ended. Something that would perk up the interests of the ED playing population.

My thoughts on the war for improved game play would be daily missions.

I also think, that any drop bombs or varium bombs collected in the future should be used during that reset, and it one saves them, they go rancid. Having active daily participation ensures more balance in playing for this type of event.

^i wonder if they make a new armor with a 2012 effect called doom which makes gives your enemy a 10% chance to get a special Dot that attacks ur enemies hp by 5 for 3 turns.
