I personally hope victory in this new war cannot be purchased with varium, and their is decent rewards for taking part, instead of continuing with regular PVP.
Endless grinding on a single NPC would not be my idea of a war, I missed out on the last one so not sure how it worked exactly.

I am tempted to play support TLM through the war, it's pretty good for fast win/loss 2v2 matches too, my tank build slows the matches down too much.

HA I demand rematch to Legion. The War Hero achievement should be released and THIS TIME, super war bombs should no longer be purchasable but earned by drops. Same goes with other stuff.

If they remove NPCs as a way to influence war outcome then there's progress.
If the amount of time kid has to farm NPCs all day or the amount of money for bombs is the dominating factor for this war too,
which I kinda suspect it will be,wish you all a good time at it. Simple as that.

Last time I remember it Few of us worked our butts off farming for war bombs(over 1000) And then to be brought down by a varium player in just an hour,Sadly I hope this doesn't happen again.

@skeletondude. Do hope that was not me. When I did it for the 3rd time? I did not use varium.

um...the war in Frysteland was a bit of a joke because a Varium player could spend 50 varium on 1 super war bomb, which adds to only 1000 varium ( a little more than a new varium weapon) for 20 bombs, which would do 500+ damage each, giving 10,000 damage, while non var had to have at least 100 battles (this is with an un heard of 100% drop rate with bombs) just to be able to receive that amount, while the varium could easily do 10,000 damage an hour.

And I am a full var, so I know the unfairness of the frysteland war to non var.

Fay: No need to say sorry It wasn't your fault.

The drop rate for those bombs were around 40% actually or far less than that.

My point :( I felt bad, so I bought only....about 5 super bombs I believe? and still no cheevo! RAWR!

Yay war war war war.

I hope it'll be a good place to farm some extra creds. Like the last one was.

If the new war will involve NPC battling like Frysteland war did, CH and Bounty will most probably be good classes to use with their ability to 4 turn almost anything. And if there's anything to 2 turn, BM will rock with sidearm + fireball combo. TM has overload + plasma rain but they don't improve as quickly as fireball does.

Exile of course. I still have no idea why I fought for legion in the last war. Such a waste of my potential.

I hope that this time around, there will not be a pay to win option for war kills.

 I hope that Super Bombs at least get a nerf in their damage potential compared to normal Bombs. Having them removed entirely from the shop would be very unlikely.

 @al Probably surprised considering Legion would often have their 1st place player equal the entire Exile board plus the fact that despite them having an obvious money advantage Exile managed to keep the gap reasonably close to what it was the day before.

 I hope the improvements they made are no varium bombs unless they are limit them to a cetain amount per day and I don't want to be fighting NPCs.

Fighting NPC's is alot faster than fighting players. Some might abuse using guest play partners and killing them in one shot.

I think there should be 2vs2 war

@Pivotal,

This is just an assumption, but I think King is commenting on challenge missions that influence wars... thus challenges can be manipulated completely by one person.
