I suggest group chat, it would be same as personal chat, but more people could cummunicate in it. It would be great tool for factions that go for championships often.

I have long dreamed about have a General faction Chat system, similar to what you are suggesting. Supported.

mmm...I dont know. Seems like there are more pressing issues of balancing and bugs and making progress in the war to be focusing on small, maybe usefull things like this.

totally supported, i sometimes have 5 chat boxes open just to talk to people in my faction,and have to repeat my self 5 times. quite annoying :/

Would be a nice thing to introduce, and possibly could be an idea. It just means a lot of changes to the PM'ing system which would take a lot of coding time. It will be something that can be discussed, however, it may not be possible, or may have to wait until there's a lot more time to code this.
