When I just use the space bar, the numbers come back together again:

1 2 3

We do them through the use of

tags.

We create the data in an external program such as excel and then we copy it to the forums. Once we apply the code tags to the data the spaces are automatically created giving you what you see in that link.

The spaces are automatically truncated by the software. To get them to display you need to wrap them in code tags: Simply highlight what you want to be displayed with spaces and click on the code button in the edit interface. For example:

1 2 3

is the result of
[ code ]1 2 3[ /code ]
minus the spaces in the square brackets

Hope this helps! :)

Just to add on what's already been said, one can also use a non-breakable space to add more spaces: & n b s p (w/o the spaces)

& n b s p & n b s p & n b s p & n b s p 1 (with the spaces)

     1 (without the spaces)
