This is a social class of thread. So, what is your battle nature in EpicDuel? What I am asking by this question, can be a broad range of possibilities. You could say, "I love Strength and the Maul skill. I use Maul to hopefully tie in a 2-hit combo to scare my opponent. I'm usually the all-offence kind of guy who rails people even when I get hit hard"

That kind of thing ^


I myself am a defensive player so I might likely have Dexterity or Technology at a high and rely on Strike or my Robot for damage and skills being my backup. I can absorb high damage but rage is my vulnerability. I often use support skills such as Field Commander or Energy Shield, and occasionally burst skills such as Multi Shot. I avoid excessive health and energy so they may rarely be high. I heal when efficient and attack when safe. I stumble sometimes when I am pelted by heavy damage or nerf skills like Smokescreen.

Im a strategist in battle. I like to have focus. I employ a wide range of skills and attacks in battle. The attacks I will use on you depend on your class and build. I can take down a good variety of classes and builds with the builds i use. I make my own flavor of builds. I have even made a 5 focus strenth build for tech mage, but since I dont like strength, I only have a moderate amount of it. The only time i will employ a strength build is when theres a war going on and I need to win quickly or when I go for a daily achievement, whether its for my faction or for myself.

I am a synergist. When the time is right, I strike hard with no mercy. Other times, mu shields are up and I wait until rage. I like to plan ahead. My favorite builds are Super Tanks, because being able to defend and hit hard are extremely important. I rely on high HP to keep those strong unblockables from weakening me.

Rage is my friend. Hit me with a rage move and I more than likely have enough EP to heal.

Currently, my weaknesses are Infernal Android builds and smokescreen.

Tank strategist with 5 focus tlm,i have a variety of healing field medic,frenzy,surgical strike and 2 boosters .When my enemy has an energy skill that is deadly i'll smash it with atom smasher.Whenever my opponent has rage i use surgical strike especially classes with bloodlust so they wont gain much and then I finish them off with infernal androids special.Classes with debuffs,I have a specific build that has more defense than resistance since i can use bloodshield to counter malf and dont have a buff for def since I allready have mineral armor.And a point for field commander incase you want extra str so you can gain more from frenzy :)

Me I like a focus builds since they are the most flexible. I like to think ahead and plan my moves. While most rely on high hp I don't since even though most consider it a weakness I perfer to keep my bonus from the 100% agility. If someone uses a massacre build I will use assimilation to force them out of the confront zone. My bot of choice is the Azreal borg not because of it's ability, but because it is my first bot and my personal favorite.

I have been everything, tryied everything. The only thing I don't like playing is strenght builts.

When I think about it, my main strategy is bullying.
I want my opponent to click random 1vs1, see me appear in front of him and know he will die. I deal brute damage. I try to win in the less possible amount of rounds. I also like to take chances. I'll go for the kill instead of healing when I get the chance. Conan style !

I am not a class hopper, nor will I change my built every half an hour. I don't like using to OP built 'flavor of the month' type. (I have never been a Strenght BloodMage for example).

I love focus and supports builts. These are my 2 favorites builts and right now, my built have both!

I promise a quick and painless death when you fight me.

I like a build which is consistent in damage output. I like to have either high tech or high dex, so I can have a reliable attack which has a low fail chance.
I also love to be on the attack. While I love strategizing long term wins, it simply isn't economical or beneficial to my battle token and credit quota I set for myself. When I'm on the attack, prediction and disruption are the main tools I use. I love energy stealing moves, as a nice lv 5 emp grenade is almost guaranteed to force the opponent out of their comfort zone. I almost never use support skills such as defense matrix; as I see them to be a waste of a turn which could've upped my rage bar and allowed me to deal more damage. In essence, my strategy is to use a fluid, relentless attack on the opponent, and I attack in a way that all my opponent's countermeasures are disrupted. For buffers, I have azraels. For those who steal my energy, I have various ways of attacking without massacre. I attack from various angles, shifting my plan so my opponent cannot disrupt my strategy, meanwhile disrupting theirs.

I, as a Merc, go for massive damage, with a 7 Blood, max Zerker, and Infernal Interdictor. When I hit, I hit hard, and my rage can be deadly. I also value the Dexterity stat, and currently have it at 101 (29-35).

My defenses are currently:

DEF: 29-35 -1 [+6] = 34-40
RES: 21-26 +9 -1 [+5] = 34-39.

Enough to withstand a mild blow.

I am (currently) a support abuser
I go for the classic malf, gun, aux, assimilation, gun, etc. strategy
I love hitting high damage on each turn, especially against cyber hunter's or Merc's, since they have nocounter to this strategy
I use the inferal interdictor to power up my frequent criticals, since I do have 119 support

My highest aux damage was 86

I am currently a focus bounty...
14-17 base damage
14-17 base aux
25-30 +5+1defense
27-32 +5+1 resistance
I start with a max EMP, if I go second and they use most of their EP, I'll just go with smoke.
When I feel desperate, I'll use a level 8 heal.
I do use the infernal android, but I usually feel terrible for using the special, so I just go with the normal attack as my main source of damage.

Prior to this it was a boring old average str mass build for the sake of war, and before that it was a rather lovely support build that worked much better in theory than in practice.
*unintelligible grumble about never getting stuns despite having a 40% chance and being so vulnerable after reflex wears off*

My nature is to use Level 10 maul and hopefully a Stun and then a Level 10 Berzerker. 2 Hit K-O!

I like huge damages and a good ratio of wins. I like to lose when I'm bored so I get a bit angry and start to work my butt off to get the win percentage close to 100%.

I like strategic battles and I have never had a low defense/resistance build but I will also have a reliable offensive option.

And I'm not a good loser.
