Hey guys! Glad i could caught your attention, so i am going to be quick! :)

1)What i am suggesting:
A)Merge shops
B)Garbage
C)Mission changes/NPCs interaction
D)Banks
E)Random PvE battles(AKA HUNTER MODE)
F)More consumable items ~new
G)Skill animation revamp ~new


2) Details:

A)Merge shops

A shop in which you can use multiple / single items → craft other items. Can be proven useful in missions, broken items and war/random drops ALSO could include using battle tokens.

B)Garbage

Not hard and already exists, just needs to be more often and drop from different different sources. Like the flawed diamonds that dropped in the war, but these will be used to sell or craft an item.

C)Mission changes/NPCs interaction
-Other type of rewards (like xp)
-Making them more dynamic in which the player really interacts with the npc and not blindly read and obey... O_O
-More user friendly, perhaps a little change on the interface?
-Chat and directions, user friendly for the new epic duelists!


D)Banks

Organized outside inventory, which opcionally can be inside our bikes/houses. Nothing really fancy, but gives purpose to other items like bikes.

E)Random PvE battles (AKA HUNTER MODE)

I understand what is going wrong in this suggestion, being a pvp game, but i have a very solid reason to why you should be supporting this: AQ CLASSIC AND OTHER GAMES IN AE HAS IT and.... CUZ' I SAY SO.
Alright, i also would like that it had the 1v1 & 2v2/2v1 win/loss different from this, maybe a npc win/loss counter .. I'd like to call this mode Hunter mode!
This mode has lots of different species of monsters with rare relics and very tasty brains.
Monsters found are random, though would be cool if they had anything to do where you are.

F)More consumable items !
Well this one is almost self-explanatory. Basically adding remedies, special buff "boosts", grenades and Special debuff "boosts".
I am NOT just talking about stat buffs/debuffs like STR and such,
but debuffs in which :

- confuse (randomly shotting yourself or a friend)
- blind
- weaker regeneration from health boosters and field medic
- weaken to poison, confuse, blindness
- decrease critic rate %

and buffs:

- resistance to poison, confuse, blindness
- weaken emp
- improves your ability to heal by Health boosters & field medic
- improve critic rate %

remedies:

- cure poison/confuse/blind ( although it as got side affects, like feeling weaken for poison)

grenades:
-deals damage and etc

Why? Because this makes the battle less predictable and more fun.


G)Skill animation revamp

For those who played against the dragonoid brain and infernal door, i am not sure if you ever felt that our skills animations are old. Some of them have been like that since the start of the game and comparing to the newest art, it makes it look UNEPIC. So i thought it would be nice if we got more exiting and neat animations that really makes our character look like a BA.

You mean merge shops right? marge from is from the simpsons when I typed it in google

I can see myself supporting these. A bank on the other hand I don't really see why anyone needs one items can be duplicated/counted for one item and not many people have filled inventory's

I could really use those infernal gems

Thanks! Bank is indeed a pretty debatable matter, you can always add more inventory space, it is "like the same" (at least for some, for me.. i like to only see what i need)

(1) Bank might not be necessary.
(2) Does Hunter Mode means you get a random NPC to fight?

@philopateer hazim: Yeah... having that, it might help those who can't afford varium or made a mistake that "lost all their credits". Also gives a new perspective in playing the game, item hunters.


For the ones who read to the very last, i also suggested an different mode, it should give less xp/credits than the actual pvp mode or depending on the challenge that can be 1v2 or 1v1.. In which the monsters have a higher rate of dropping these "garbage" items.

You know, random PVE is inspirational, it could be used in PVP. How? Well, let us assume that in 1V1 we can only fight players of the same level. After 10 seconds if no other players of the same level are searching in 1V1, then you the player would be matched up with a random NPC player that resembles a class. They would have increased stat points because they are an NPC as they do not have a brain like we do. This could be used to balance 1V1, 2V2, and Juggernaut. And yes, just like a rare wild Pokemon battle it would be helpful if defeating them gave as you said "relics" or something that helps the player. I support these suggestions moderately although for the consumables you may need to explain them a bit more. I do not plan for them to possibly be overpowered.

Overall, awesome reply in which i think that REALLY is a good point and awesome fix which makes sense!
I might add a quote of what you just said to the suggestion, though i would still like an only pve button, just in case i get bored of pvping or do not plan in being the pvp guy.

Consumables are rather a fast idea, what i really meant was, like in the tittle, that the staff added more CREDIT consumables although i gave some ideas for consumable items.
Basically, what i said were consumables in which active buffs/debuffs, make damage and "cure you" from affects like the deadly poison.

At the same time i gave another suggestion and made a balance discussion on which i thought should taken in consideration.
The suggestion was more special states:

Confusion is a state were you cannot control your character in which he randomly uses is sword to kill himself or another ally( if he has got one) or HEALS you and your ally. Kind of mind-control.

blindness or just plain blind, is almost the inverse of shadow arts in which the player will miss often his bullets and melee primary attacks, however the bot still works.


As for the balance discussion on the consumables:
I didn't went down to exact ideas of how to make it less op, but i gave counter consumables to each consumable. Meaning that you have also a chance to undo what is op.
While in the case of the remedies, i felt it was too strong, so i gave them DOWN SIDES(aka SIDE AFFECTS), meaning that your blessing is now your curse too ( gives a reason to also use the buff ones ;) ).

Thanks for detailing the consumables Veneeria, they do not sound too bad at all. As for the various effects, because they are dynamic and not just concerning the basic health and energy fundamentals, I support this as it might just be a fair implementation.

Thanks and no problem, also the best thing about having a merge shop is the fact that we finally will have a concept of farming. You know, gathering items to craft an mastercraft item in which might finally spice up our game-play in epicduel.
What I really hope is for it not to become something varium only, we already got varium overpriced items and modes. Kind of time to invest in the game-play and all of its players. :3

Very well placed bump Ven otherwise I would have missed this topic.

I agree with everyone but grenades because grenades are sketchy whenever we see or hear something about them.

The Infernal Infiltration grenades would have been major OP'd in battle and when the Dev's first attempted grenades they turned that code into robots. So if they can find that nice little balance for grenades I would love to see them in battle

Yeah, it is hard to add grenades that aren't op and at the same time not useless (because we can't improve their damage or decrease, meaning that mostly everyone buy the huge damage ones... ).
Plus if they were to make the same damage as a primary weapon, it would just be awful, as for it wouldn't make sense to "buy one" so that you can damage as you always damaged with your sword/primary weapon, most likely they had to deal a REALLY high damage.
I can't come with an idea on this and if these grenades are unblockable, they should be at least 1000 credits each depending on the level of the grenade.

While on the subject of banks.. implement the ability to view what an item looks like while it is in your bank.
Currently if you want to view an item in your bank, you are forced to put it in your inventory, close out of the bank, open your bag, and view it that way.

Perhaps when you click on an item that is in your bank, an icon could pop up under where the "To Inventory" button pops up. (This said-button would pull up the image of the item.)

The main reason they dont implement PvE only button is that some players would use it exclusively and then percentages would not be an accurate measure of a player, and it IS a PvP game. A PvE button, apart from being a pain to program and test, would basically become a NPC build farm.


Not saying I'm opposed to it, just pointing out why they dont.

The thing is that you are not they (the staff)and i am not even sure if you read the details or even tried to. :/

I will begin by explaining why the suggestion was given:

The objective of the pve mode, like many other suggestions i gave were mearly to "spice up" or lets say make it more fun for us the players, specially those who have been here for more than 2 years in this game like me.
I've felt, like many, that the game is getting repetitive and boring, which led me sometimes to be WAY TOO MUCH impatient about a since Friday release.

About your post:
What you think or speculate is not always the truth, it is not fact. I, for once like to play against players more than npcs, just choose not to because of how predictable they are.

Taking advantage, i can believe in that, after all the whole op build spamming is source of that "farming", but knowing that you will never know what kind of npc you will face against, in this mode, it kills a bit on that "predictable side".

In a perspective, even if they get to take advantage or some of it, it could possible also mean some peace in the pvp side, there would be less OP build users, the community was divided.

Anyway, i will just re-explain it for you:

the pve mode is called - Hunter mode

- it has got an unique npc win/loss counter
- drops from the npcs are "garbage"/merging items, meaning that the main objective and what it is focused more are these. The rate of drop is very common (almost always drops something, although valuable items are more RARE)
- (i suggested this later i guess? in some of the posts) The reward of xp and gold is different from other pvp modes, possible less.


For future reference, i am thankful you could post and warm me about anything, but i don't need an echo(someone to remind me of anything), i was there to see it myself. Occasionally i tried to search for what was said about these on other threads.
