Couldn't they just go out of testing phrases and simply call it EpicDuel?

Omega is at the end of the Greek alphabet. This implies that it will be the last testing phase.

Honestly this game doesn't feel like its in testing at all. I'm not surprised they skipped like 20 letters.

 That is normally how game testing does

All you ever really hear about is Alpha, which is closed in a lot of cases, Beta and Omega

I have never heard of omega testing in games (so far, until now). Normally I hear of (sometimes) alpha testing, with open or closed beta testing, then fully distributable when all critical defects are gone.

Exactly what he said... never even heard of a game that have a "gamma" testing phase >.>

Did you read the OP? It has already been confirmed that the next testing phase is Omega, which means that it will be the final testing phase for the game.
