I was asked a number questions, and since each question was asked a couple of times, there might be at least another person who wonders the same: You said before the artwork must be original. Can I use stock images I found on the web? Yes and no. The artwork must be original, but for years artists have used artworks of others to create newer, more awesome pieces of artwork, like signatures. Yet, you can't use every piece of artwork you find on the web. Quoting from the rules of The Gallery: quote:
Ripping "Ripping" for these purposes shall be defined as the use of another's art without permission. The consequences will be severe for anyone found ripping someone else’s art. If you think that your art, or someone else's, has been ripped, please PM superjars; do not post about it. Rip cases are private, between the accuser, the alleged ripper, and the original creator of the artwork in question. Any post on the forum accusing someone of ripping will be seen as flaming and be treated as such. Please include as much information as possible in the PM so it can be taken care of quickly. If the person under question for ripping is found out not to have ripped, the case will be dropped without repercussion. What will happen if I don't finish the gift before the 24th? Nothing. Nothing will happen if you don't finish the gift. This is why I asked for volunteers above to help with extra gifts, in case someone can't create one. If you already know you won't be able to create a gift on time, you should PM me already. Edit: Wouldn't uploading the image and giving a link be a giveaway anyway? Depends on the site in which you upload the image. For an example, for images, you can use Tinypic which is anonymous. Last, thanks to all of the volunteers above! If you have any further questions, feel free to post them here or send me a PM.
