Took a while to come up with a new name. What do you know? It's taken by a lvl 1 noob with 1 win. Who does this really?
My suggestion is that when the debs have time they
1) delete all lvl 15 and below characters that have been inactive for a X amount of yime
2) introduce a rule where if you are inactive for X amount of time, you're account name is changed into a random code and you get a free name change if you return.
3) varium players and people with over X amoun of wins are immune to this new feature

X's are undecided because I want the idea to be discussed, not the figures

while i sorta support but this idea has already been suggested more than 4 times, there is 2 recent suggestions about this.

 supported, but I think this should only apply to players who haven't bought varium. People may feel cheated if they bought lots of varium and quit but planned to come back.

Not support for the fact that paying players can lose their name if they have under x number of wins. This is real money they spent for the name change and it would be going down the drain with this idea.

supported because the name I want is owned by a lvl 1 0 wins with no gear -.-

So, If you wan't a name that was taken by an alpha player, sorry you cant get it because its taken by someone with rare equipment.

by the way, I just freed up 400,000 Character names! If you were unable to get the name you wanted, you might want to check again!


These are the requierements for it and inmunity.

I agree, remove the very low level non-varium non-players who have been inactive for a year. But that dont mean you will get the name available, because how do you know it's some who is inactive? Maybe they are only inactive for that paticular character. For example, I have my main character that I play almost exclusively. But on the same account, I have four other very low level characters, each with their own name that someone else might want. I wish I could delete the other characters that I never play, maybe someone does want the names I have tied up.

Great idea!
I would love some names but they're taken by someone who's >lvl 5.
I think it would be good for the developers to program this after omega and a rest.

Anyway, the players should be non-varium, not have any rare items and be >lvl 15.
Also, the code idea would be very good too because if someone comes back their account won't be deleted but the name will have simply changed.

@ mother and exploding: I specifically said varium players AND the x win players are immune. Not var players THAT have x wins

I think they need to make an exception to not deleting characters with rare items to alphas.


Most of the alpha players dont even know they have the rares, but what they do have is all the cool names.


So if the only rare item they have is alpha, I think they should still be up for deletion providing they meet the other criteria as well.

Or perhaps only delete the alpha players if they have not played since they were given the weapons, as in they dont know they have them.

Support +Before they delete characters, they should try to contact players by sending an e-mail to the inactive players in case they want to return.
