We from what I see NPC are getting a buff in omega since their AI is going to be increased, as well as them getting aux's while we the players are getting nerfed since we are losing enhancements and extra stats on items so free to play and pay to play can be even.

I'm curious for the most part. There have been some concerns raised by others regarding the apparent buff to non-varium players and NPCs while varium players get nerfed. The concerns are mostly focused on how it affects Juggernauts and their ability to win. We've yet to see the new system in actual combat, so it's hard to say, but I don't think it will be a major difference. Although I predict battles will be slower paced with less damage output.

Hopefully a bloodlust nerf and a reroute buff to reflect the nerf to HP.

^Or hopefully support increases Field Medic because we can't stat abuse support anymore in Omega so healing won't be too big of a problem.

It has been confirmed that Field Medic and Support will be reunited in Omega.

I hope static charge gets buffed, agility gets removed and field medic improves with support.

@giras
What do you mean HP nerf?

@ mr. black op

They are taking away agility because we will have less stats to work with in omega. Also field medic will be getting put back with support as well in omega as well. As for static charge getting a buff? They didn't say anything about that yet.

The staff said it over twitter. Plus several regulars who speak with the staff have said it in the forums several times as well that field medic would be going back to support. If that isn't a buff to support then I don't know what is.

Woah woah woah! Why exactly should Blood Lust be nerfed? Because a Hunter has beat you once or twice with it? Hunters NEED that ability.

I agree with Mr. Black OP, static charge needs a buff. The energy regen is ridiculously low. It was because those ppl who complained about CH being too OP...

I'm hoping balance turns out right...

@ midnightsoul

An attack effect that ignores all defenses is to restore health or energy is OP. This attack had no strategic counter to it like every other move in the game at the time. The only way it could be stopped was by blocking and last I checked even though you can increase you chance to block you can't control when you block so stopping this move was pure luck. Can you explain to me how that isn't OP since every other move in the game that is offense can be countered?

Nice Ad Hominem Fallacy.

And apparently you think "nerf" means remove.

What I'm actually saying is Reroute and Bloodlust will need to be adjusted to reflect the value of an HP point. My reasoning is as follows:

If attaining high HP is easy, the Bloodlust gainback is less significant and the reroute gainback is higher.
If attaining high HP is difficult and detramental to your build, bloodlust's gainback is more significant and reroute gainback is lower.

However, this may not apply if the average damage output per turn is lower in omega, because Bloodlust is based on damage output.

No, I did not think it was to be removed. It does not however need to be changed. I see no problem with it.

My point is that both skills % values will need to be adjusted somewhat to reflect the new battle mechanics in Omega. 23% and 30% are very arbitrary values and their actual usefulness is determined by battle mechanics.

That may be if either skill end up Severely Op or Up. Wit hthe new Stats distribution Dmg output could be huge or very small.

True. However the point of this thread is to make predictions, and I am predicting that Bloodlust will become OP in Omega and need to be reduced due to the HP nerf.

The problem with Bloodlust and Reroute is that their percentages will have to be adjusted slightly because HP and EP are much more valuable since 1 point=1 hp. They would, in a sense, be more powerful than ever before because those stats will be much more precious.

Stat points importance will be nerfed. Depending on its ability, one core will be equivalent to having like 20-50 stat points more - depending on its price in varium.

Static Charge needs a buff.....It's too UP now. It's even encouraging CHs to go for Str builds...

Cyber Hunters NEED that ability.

Actually not once or twice, but nearly everytime. This "nearly" means just 1 or 2 times winning with some luck. Btw, BloodMages are gaining too much advantage from that skill as well.

Then it's good that it was nerfed/balanced. If you NEED a skill to win, that already tells everyone that something is wrong because you should not be forced to use one skill to win. You should have equal chance to win without it.

Thanks for proving that current SC is fine.
