When a new set of standard skill cores are released for items, lucky skill cores will be removed (they are experimental skill cores but are now causing more chaos than ever).

If players owned (well, lease is the right term here) a lucky skill core when they are being removed, the item that had them receives a free core token. A core token is pretty much a "get 1 free" coupon for skills cores.
