A lot of the time, factions merely get influence on activity levels... not really skill.
I am proposing events/battle options which would pit Faction members on teams all the time, and step up 2v2, to 3v3 battles which only involve members from 1 single faction (3 members on 1 side, 3 on the other).
also add a new rank within factions which also have the ability to kick inactive members (e.g.: members->Officers->Commander->founder) in the event that if founder goes away on a trip, the backup can still run the faction effectively. it can also help co-founders to run a faction, and can give better privileges to more appreciated members.
i know 3v3 would take much longer, but it would give a chance for much faster influence gain because 1 side gets 3X the influence for 1 win (because 3X the members participating)
it would be a challenging style that requires an upgrade, much like jugg, and would require token donations to purchase the "rights" to this battle style. it would not be intended for gold gain, just influence.
it would also require a lot more strategy due to the way the players can prepare for this, and choose which 3 members participate.
