Hold your horses. You may think it's some cheap way for people who have a knack for losing easily compensate in the battle, well, technically, it is, but... Well, just read. 1. Equipment will be automatically scaled HOWEVER it will have a -5 penalty to maximum damage, -4 to maximum armor and can only have 50% of an item's supposed maximum stat point bonus. 2. It will be an on/off feature where if you turn on auto-scale, your weapon will automatically follow the above rule. Retraining stats will till cost 100 credits. 3. Upgrading the weapon and/or adding cores will be disabled if turned on. 4. Turning off the auto-scale reverts the stats to what it once was before you turned it on. This way, you can't auto-scale for free stats and THEN upgrade your weapon. 5. Auto-scale automatically turns on if maximum bonus damage of weapon is 10 less of the maximum bonus damage at that current level. Examples: 1. Maximum bonuses for lvl 35 equipment: Sword +36 -> +31 Class Weapons +35 -> +30 Armor +10 -> +6 If the penalties reach the minimum damage threshold, they retain stats: Lvl 1: Class Weapon +13 -> 13 2. Self-explanatory 3. Self-explanatory 4. I'm a lvl 35 with an unleveled +13 weapon. If I turn on auto-scale, it will turn into a +30 weapon with half-stats, however, if I turn auto-scale off, it will revert back to being a +13 weapon. 5. I'm a certain person who can't afford stat upgrades. I'm a lvl 35 using a +20 weapon. I enter a battle, however my +20 weapon has turned into a +30 weapon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As you may have guessed, it's because there are plenty of either trolls or people who can't afford upgrades because they keep losing. This gives them some chance while making them realize that upgrades are still important.
