ive been having some ridiculously bad luck still. frequently.
first turn gives a huge advantage, and lately i've been having people going first against awful odds.

examples (33 merc with 50 support):
33 with 30 support going first in 1v1, 2 times in a row
34, with 20 support going first
and finally 35 with 17 support attacking first. i know these are percentages and there is always the chance that these can happen, but what were the odds of these happening all right aftet each other? (no in order, i faced 35 first, then 34, then 33, but you get the point).
starting first, in addition to support, should also be relative to who started last match. if you didnt start last match, you should get a 5% chance increase. if you didnt start the last 2 matches you get 10% increase so forth and so forth. a loss should also give an additional 2 % increase to this
any thoughts?

Bad luck happenning in a row can make it very frustrating. However, I cannot agree with ur idea. The matter is you do not face the same person in your next battle. Adding chance for you to go first after one fight in which you dont start first may give you an unfair advantage as there is not 100% chance that you ll meet the same one the next battle.

nonetheless, after a longer string of no cordiance, i think people should get a chance to go first, even if they have low support

After the bad luck streak, you learn how to get over it. You're not facing the same person so why should they be set back only because... you don't train your Support (or someone else did and you had lower than them)? What if 2 players meet that were supposed to have higher chance? Nope. xyzman has nailed it in his post.

Not only that, you'd be likely to be set back as well since your opponent could've been unlucky. How is that fair? Just making it worse and imbalanced for no reason. Train Support higher (or abuse) or deal with the fact you won't always start first (or have high chance to).

i told you, i had higher support than all of them, and they were higher levels for the most part, but they still went first. do you really want another support abuser out there?

I don't mind another Support abuser, majority of them are pushovers to me even with double Criticals (Aux + Multi) in a row, so yeah, go for it. Basically, you want an unfair advantage versus different opponent which is even more unfair since the ability of First Strike is going away from Support - you don't need to rely on it anymore, just wait to get lucky as you would with Support.

You want fairness and suggest something that's the complete opposite of it. :I

its fairness in the sense that everyone would start battles in closer ratios regardless of support difference. although you don't like my idea, you haven't suggested anything better than it.

i only encounter this problem when I am in a group of lower levels but I think that happens because it is written in the formula to help lower levels otherwise it is the support abusers who do this to me.

As for this idea I can't support it. It gives an unfair advantage to player in future matches just because they had bad luck.

However as for my solution to this I said it before I will say it again. Make it so going first doesn't depend on any stat. This way even though it is luck (which everyone hates) it is 100% fair since it can't be abused.

that one i appove as well. i like the higher levels getting a minor percentage decrease, but nothing huge. 3% per level at most. and 50-50 on even ground. it just gives a minor edge to level difference

Having 33 more support gives you a 100% chance to go first if both you and your opponent have the same level. Being 1 level lower against your opponent gives you an extra 5% chance to go first. So technically, if you're 5 levels lower than your opponent, all you need is 17 more support against to get the first strike.

The formula for it is good but the % gained for every support is slightly ticked off. Two separate ways to best balance out first turn are:

1.) Change the % you gain for every support point from 1.5% to 0.82%, lower level advantage from 5% to 3%. In this way, it takes 60 more support points to gain complete advantage against your opponent of the same level. Lower levels need 42 support to take complete advantage against someone 5 levels higher than them.

2.) Have a capped % from going first than your opponent. You can have a maximum of 85% to go first but cannot go lower than 15%. This prevents high support users from gaining complete advantge over you. The formula however remains the same here.
