they dont even hav an exclusive core. they should hav the same power as new promos. make a new core for the beta primary. 120% damage unblockable undeflectable.
secondaries: 50% bonus chance to crit on the active

these cores can be claimed for free on the beta weapons.

beta weapons are very weak compared to the new promos.

 Beta weapons are weak because they came out before effects were put into the game. Before effects were made, people bought promos for stats only. No, free cores are outside of the promotional period and it's buffing the weapons from their existing state, which falls the policy of not buffing rare items.

 While I would almost always agree to new cores just for more content and variety in ED, that doesn't mean I'd agree with something ridiculous like +50% crit chance...

As for beta weps, sure, why not? I think most to all promos, particularly infernal slayer and dragon buster II deserve unique cores that aren't going to have clone cores like thorns and plasma meteor

I thought devs have promised a certain policy not to buff rares?
Regardless, those buffs are way to powerful...

Beta weapons are only weak because omega gave all the weapons the same power they had since beta. Beta weapons before even though they had less stats were some of the most overpowered items due to them not having stat requirements. These weapons were omega in a three piece set.

They had their time to shine now they are like everything else. Also there is a no buffs to rare items policy as shown here

And alpha weapons useful.
Even a blunder gun is useful!!! Which was a level 1 gun back in delta.
