ok, so today i playing on my alt. 1 thing I realised, i kept going against some1 5 levels above me. this battle system is really broken. needs to be fixed. because it is only fair for lvl 35s and is difficult for lvl 30s. make the battles 2 levels above or below, not 5

Oh look it is this topic again.

On topic

As I said before so many times the reason this happens is because there isn't enough high levels to go around. So the game pulls lower level players to match these higher levels with. Plus unlike level 6-30 level 35's don't have an 11 level player range. If there were more level 35's playing the game and enough people to compensate for this I could support this idea, but cutting into the level range for one group of people to make another group suffer isn't fair either.

Cause even with this change levek 35 and 34 would still get the short end of this stick since they will have less players to go against then every other level.

Because as mother has said if they change the range of the players; most of the 35s would not get into battle. Look at the game right now. Are we losing players that are in a range from 30-35? Yes. Are we gaining alot of low level player which are actually higher level players which turns out the devs think they are gaining more lower level players but are on their alts? Yes.

The second reason why I do not support is because we all took the pain of being a level 30. Including me; I was thrashed by the level 34 players back in the days. It is fair to say that everyone should take the pain of losing once in a while but once you turn out to be 35; you'll be either losing by the level 30s or thrashing them...

Not supported BUT i would suggest that npc give xp but don't count towards your kd ratio.
Why?
Shore it will be a little bit longer to find a match but since doing npcs is very boring and you can only fight 100 of them a day i could live with a bit more finding time.

Why would i even like this implimented my self as lvl 35?
1) I was once that guy who lost and it wasn't very nice.
2) The current way the XP works is that each next level is harder to get so there is a way higher chance of you fighting a higher level than lower level till you reach the max level which atm is lvl 35.

@ epicisepic, thats a good idea. but make the NPCs give 24 experience per battle, if they are a lower level -2 experience

@ ed divine

That would work if the staff are willing to give up making the game PVP and go back to making it PVE. The staff originally removed EXP gain after level 10 because they want the game to be player versus player.

Not to mention they cut NPC rewards from unlimited to 100 wins because having people fight npc too much caused severe lag. (I can vouch for this truth since I did fight a NPC 100 times for yeti pelts and the more I fought the NPC the more I ended up lagging)

If they were to do that it could seriously harm the game since the following would happen,

1 People trying to do player vs player would have less people to play against since people will be doing NPC for EXP

2 With more people doing NPC since EXP is would be given lag would increase harming the game.

All of us level 35's have earned our spot. We all had to make it through the difficulties of facing opponents 5 levels ahead of us. Whether it was years back in Alpha/Beta or to the current date, we've all done it. And once you hit the cap, all you can do is wait until there is a new cap and keep hitting it. I've even seen non variums do it for years. And before Omega, non variums had a serious SERIOUS disadvantage. Though I seen them pull through. If they can do it, and if us 35's have done it, you can do it.

I have to agree with vanity on this one. You're not the only one who suffered as a level 30-32; when I was first reaching the level cap (which was 32 at the moment), I struggled a LOT at level 27, and enhancements in Gamma didn't help at all in making it any easier. Level 30-32s can actually stand a small, but not impossible or extremely improbable, chance of beating a level 35. You just have to make a build that ignores the weapon damage bonus disadvantage and focus on the areas of lower levels that are less penalized. A caster merc build is one good example, because 5 or so tech points only reduces bunker damage by 1, and those lost stat points from levels will overall not effect your performance too much.

If you play 2v2 you can sometimes hitch a win off of really good level 35 allies as well, or sometimes get stuck in a game full of level 25s-27s.
