 The only promo we really have a problem with is Azrael. Pretty much every other one is UPd or roughly balanced. If Azrael's Will is still a problem next year then it will be nerfed again.

armored roots was suppose to counter the force strike but as you guys can see that didn't work out so well :o

 @CN2025: Because it has too much setback and doesn't last too long.

The promos can be worth it, but waiting never hurt; I'm never getting a promo with var unless it's perma-rare from now on. Definitely not worth it on useless promos like armored roots and growth serum, especially because I don't see any attempts or signs of future attempts at balancing these vastly underpowered cores. If the cores were balanced it would be arguable on whether or not it's worth it, but so far there needs to be more balance attempts and less attempts at new content such as the war. Azrael's will is the only remotely close seasonal promo core that's somewhat balanced, but everything else is underpowered with the exception of Azrael's Mark, which is so vastly OP, mainly because debuffs still need work since they can reduce base defenses by a ridiculously high percentage.

The set themselves could be nerfed/changed before we even get to buy them. Since it changes battles (in many cases), I think there is bound to be a change before it comes in-game in February. It might be something like... 40% chance to force your opponent to strike (same for the Auxiliary).


I think that it was a good idea to do this so people could get the gear that people could get through purchasing. The one think that most of us will want to know is: How much will cost to buy one of them? I don't think that the Developers are going to make it quite easy to get hold of one so I'm assuming the price to be around the 50,000+ Credits range. *I could be wrong! :P*

Another thing to question yourself is this: What will be the promotional item when the ones from last year return? Is it going to be stronger so people buy that package or will it be a balanced item?
When the Azrael's package was released this year, a lot of people were happy they got the pack. Others who didn't want to get the package felt how much they were more likely missing. With quite a lot of people saving up for these Weapons, each battle could be filled with promotional items. You have to remember that some people haven't changed their choice of weaponry since they bought that package.


This will allow people to get things that they couldn't. But if the price is too high, how will people react?

 Moose nailed it with Azrael's Will. If you're afraid of spamming it by players, it may get nerfed once again - if necessary - or come at a very high price because the core is that powerful. Not mentioning it's a promo item and we know how much the Legion/Exile Battlegear has cost. :P

Even though I know what you are talking about Azreal's mark would be the 5% increase crits on strikes. What you are talking about is Azreal's torment.

I hope the devs know Azraels Torment is OP and nerf if before it gets to the masses
However, I bet the devs aren't going to nerf it so that the promo users can "enjoy" it until
it goes to the masses (then BAM nerfed). It took a whole year for infernal robot to get nerfed till it wasn't OP...

The infernal android got nerfed after the first week it came out so I don't know where you got that info from.

In case you didn't know, the infernal robot was nerfed the first week, but it was still OP. That is why the devs nerfed it again till it was finally balanced.
Many people agree the 1st nerf wasn't enough to make the robot balanced.

Now back on topic: I would like some promos to come back next year, but not every single one
Some should go rare like the current Dread alux promos.

Personally of all the promo's that should go rare the newest azreal's promo should go rare cause if that promo comes back I can tell it will be nerfed into the ground even though everyone has access to it.

 @Arion: For some reason all promos, even promos that are going perma-rare, are listed as seasonal-rare until they leave, which can sometimes misguide players. The war promos (exile/legion battlegear and dread domination set) will all be going perma-rare after the war is over.

can you please give evidence though since many are saying it will come back next year and i don't know what to believe ...

but maybe an archknight or one of the staff can clear things up ?
