Dream on

The sun over the sea of dreams
Passes as it draws to the end of its chapter,
But a new beginning will come to rejuvenate the old,
A new time,
Do not let others influence you
Or let them change you,
Flourish in your uniqueness,
Dream on, my sweet child.

Look up towards distant stars
As you dream anew of something that you will be,
Dream on sweet child, dream on.

As time passes
I hope you grow to understand compassion, empathy and love,
To grow as I hope you shall,
Into one to look up to;
To the stars, to the heavens, to the skies,

Let your creativity soar higher then Icarus,
Don't heed the fall, keep flying,
Dream on, sweet child.

Let nothing hinder you
In your journey to your destiny
That you envision,

Dream on, my sweet child, and change the world.

A Secret

Shadowed behind your serenity,
Must I not beg for this release,
Grasped in your clasped hands,
Will you not even loosen the lease,

What is it you are hiding,
Behind this… This veil of deceit,
The nectar, oh, so, sweet,
Leeched from my soul,

Why!

Why must your serpentine smile,
A Lamia by nature, Oh must I,
Try to recover the shards,
Of the heart your lies have shattered,

A typhoon of torment,
Whirls around my innocence,
This beast, the Devil, dormant,
Or so I thought it to be,

She-witch,
Your betrayal,
Condemned to the pits,
I hope you whimper, and flail,

Even eternity, the personification,
Lies in a desolate waste,
As it crumbles and falls,
From the endless lies woven-

-Woven from the thread of betrayal,
A silent cry beacons,
As you hiss out your endless nothings,
A way out, I am seeking,

Ultimately, my dear,
I cannot undo the done,
This undermining, petty skirmish,
You… Have won,

I leave you now,
Farewell...
I cannot live in darkness,
For yourself, you’re out to sell,

Foolish are you, my sweet,
Pass out that door of light-
As you said,
But it is a passage of blindness…

Clouded in your judgement,
To callous to perceive,
This ‘secret’ I have kept,
Is what made you leave?

But your ignorance has gone,
Destroyed the hope I have seen,
My little secret, to be reviled…
Will you marry me?...

You have amounted,
Paranoia’s all you could say,
My unbound love for you…
Destroyed in a day.

Revealed

Why…
Your cynical view upon me,

Shatter the glass,
Break the wounds,

A slave to ignorance,
Can you only look without seeing?

Blind…
So blind,

A servant to the stereotypical,
Cannot acknowledge your wrong doing,

Silence the dead,
You have won?

I would laugh,
If not sorrow take me,

Stand high on your pedestal,
But bitter regret still claims gold,

I…
Have no words to portray you,

You’re the dark shadow,
That tries to haunt me,

I think,
You don’t!

Words are the only way,
To show you for what you are,
A demon, a beast,
Who destroyed my heart!

Thwarted my plans,
Or so you ‘Think’,
Think being subjective,
Or most likely, non-existent

I contemplate your choice,
Your decision
Judgement,
Conclusion,

But I cannot find anything but hate…

The hate that drives you,

The desperation that fuels you,

The lust that feeds you,

But no more!

I,

Am free…
