So yeah , I was thinking instead of making them into an Active.

It would bring alot more to the game , infact seen as they would be removed from our skill tree , we would have new skills implemented.

I think it would be a great new feature , maybe just me.

Ok this leads to a couple of issues.

1 they would need to make new skills to replace them which would mean 12 new skills would have to come into play for this to happen.
2 Even with 12 new active skills, these skills will need to be tested, and balanced before they come to the public and even with that there will still be issues of the skills being either too strong or too weak.

3 all the hard work the staff put into working with the new skills becoming actives would go down the drain which would mean they wasted time doing the original idea.

This whole passive to active they obviously aren't literally leaving the skill at is and making it so u have to activate it that's going to create massive issues and balance problems obviously their not goiung to do that . Would be another mistake . Their going to get this one right and hold onto the few players they have I think the core idea is poor if not done correctly also lets just see what happens though

Removing the passives would do that anyway.

They will probably have passive class skills which train automatically by level. This will give them flexibility to add a more diverse skill tree.
At least that's what I think - only because it makes sense.

^ Exactly what I was thinking. Weaker version (not as powerful as Lvl 10 ____) but it'd get stronger as you level up and always active, whilst secondary passives (likes of DA, Adrenaline, etc.) would be turned into active. Classes remain unique in their own way and we aren't forced to train 2 passives to be able to compete.

Not necessarily. They would create a very high pressure on ALL other cores, ultimately rendering them all useless.
