im not moaning or crying, im just saying we need to sort balance out. and this wont happen until biased people stop saying op about everything. we need everyone to agree on the weakest classes and what needs a buff. we need to make the developers 100% sure that a buff or nerf is needed to something. a reason why classes arent being balanced is because some people are being biased and just saying things from one builds point of view. *nods* i couldn't agree more. But, to my point, seeing the topic is "My complaints with the P2A update" What i feel is missing in the whole discussion: new skills. What's more, new classes. With banishing passives from the game, we lose a heck-load of diversity. During the past weeks (i've been away for a very long time) i have been looking on what could be brought into the game. Apart from "nerv x" or "buff y", i also thought about new skills and classes. However, if we take out passives, many things won't work easily, at least it gets much harder to achieve it. And that's one of the two the main points why i ask "what is the total passive to active crab about ?". So, in a nutshell, what is that freaky thing about, that all people are hoping for and speaking about ? Lets get to the second point: nerf "uber builds". Some skills may turn to a form of base class skill, that is available to the class all time, and which scales with level. Other skills may become a skill which need to be activated (either with mana or not), and which work for some turns/the whole fight afterwards. But, this scheme will not only weaken some classes. It will also strengthen some builds: str-support abusers... why would they need to activate a skill ? Blood lust ? Reroute ? Just remove some HP and add them to energy or vice versa. Done. The main point where passive to actives targets, are the current working builds - mostly Merc, T.Merc and Bounty, somewhat (tank) Cyber (their armos, rage gain, blood lust, shadow arts, reroute - these are their toys). Meaning we lose all builds that can counter the str-BM. A str-BM most likely will either lose 1 turn for activating blood lust, or do not get nerfed at all. Hopefully someone can understand my brabbling - english is not my native language
