Strength nerf- gun damage

We know the problems we had with strength builds in ED, and it's not hard to see why: unlimited strike avaible every turn, no cost, gun damage, and all the % skills/cores that go along with strength, and also attack seeems to be a better option then defending.

What if gun damage=level? So it would take the gun damage out of strength and it will only work based on level.( the bigger level the more damage gun does).

Gun should work off both support and str.

 Can you point out one Str build which is overpowered in ED? If you're going to say Str BMs, it's synergy - not the class being overpowered. And overused =/= overpowered.

it's not about OP but keep a balance in stats, so far strength is a more viable option then the other stats.

 But there isn't any issue with Strength though.. It has more options, yes, but it doesn't mean it needs to be nerfed because of it. :|

You haven't really pointed out an issue with it. The only one you did was "it's more viable option" which isn't really a balance issue, since other stats are still useful.

Strength is a constant source of damage, no costs, this is the problem with it( compare with other stats). It also promotes fast kill builds like the BM stregth you mentioned in 1vs1

So your reason for wanting to nerf gun damage is because it works with strength? Nope don't support it in the least. Also where is this problem with strength builds coming from please explain?

Last thing I saw was an overused build that works with strength being used by the masses but not overpowered. If all strength builds were overpowered I could agree with this, however this isn't the case as these builds are overused at best.

People use quick kill builds for the following.

1 they want to play many matches
2 they are playing for a daily which of course means you need to win quickly to get on top of the leaderboard
3 they are playing for their faction which also needs quick kills
4 they use them because they THINK it is overpowered.
