For me i enjoy it greatly, i believe it is a good step in the right direction. Passives were just a little too good, like Blood Lust for example. Of course i think things like, battery pack (i think thats what it's called) is just a little too good now. It gives a lot of energy back.

Passives made games short, now that there actives games are longer, and require more strategy, we just need people to use Ally chat more, haha.

I am a bounty hunter, so making Shadow arts an active, (one that i am greatly going to enjoy) is very nice, and now what used to be blood lust, is also an active, requiring a lot of energy too. Which is balanced, because in 2V2's both teammates get health back when they attack the same person.

Anyways, what do you guys think? What would you guys have done differently?

They made the defensive actives a joke if you ask me. Even though they can give more then the old passives could, they are powers up and down by buffs and debuffs. Meaning anyone with a debuff build can nerf the effect into the ground which is what some classes use.

As for Energy pack, while it gives a lot of energy it's cooldown is on par with field medic which is four turns, and can be counter by energy drainers. So while it is good, it can be counter by all classes even bloodmage now who previously didn't have an energy drainer/gainer so IMO it is balanced.

What they could have did was made the former armor passives have a fixed rate that doesn't get nerfed or buffed by buffs and debuffs.

Step in the right direction for sure. Provided I think Emp grenade is even more deadly than it was before with the recent implementation of energy costing active cores. It's a solid check to battery pack though on terms of turn stalling.

Yea, i've been smoking with level 9 smoke, and killing hybrid armour users pretty easy. If i couldn't debuff them, they'd be hard as heck to kill

the game is very less strategic now, is needed only be tech mage and use a tank build to win, or make the biggest loop possible

How do I feel about the balance update... It makes me feel the ED team has the deep, deep desire to see how badly they can annoy their few loyal fans and see how much they'll endure.
Other then that, its okay.

^ I lol'ed so true ,However this isn't the worst update they've ever come out with .

Honestly the sad thing is im the first one to complain about a op class but tms rlly aren't that hard to counter all they have is caster builds that much everyone has accepted everything else is pretty much garbage. Hope they don't kill another class.

Great! I'm so happy every time I fight a Tech Mage because they actually require a lot skill to beat.
